Welcome back to the channel! Today we’re doing some preventative maintenance to prolong the life of our drivetrain and adding some cosmetic upgrades as well. I have a 2021 Icebear 150 same color as yours. Great to see someone repping a Mad Dog alot of haters cause its Chinease . I have 5k miles ride it everyday to work been amazing. I also got My seat cover at Cheeky Seats last year still looks new.

I watched, I liked, I subscribed. Got my Gen V 150 2 weeks ago. Had a 2012? Chuck's carried on from carrier on pickup. Got in accident, it was totaled. That was a couple years ago. Enjoying your mods, Sorry to hear but thankful you're posting your problems. I was zipping along at 45-50 when I lost power, blap, nothing no throttle response. 30-45 seconds while coasting, it came back to life. Haven't figured it out why yet. Tech help at Motorbuys is a flipping joke! Be changing oil in 4 days. Adding my magnets then. What oil did you use in the gearbox? Rolling Wrench sent me synthetic for engine but saw you Adding gear oil to rear-end. You notice any thing with the crankcase breather?

Thanks for watching. Yeah exactly. Diagnosis is the name of the game when working with engines so trying to help others when I can. When I have the throttle wide open for a long time the same thing happens. No throttle response and seconds later (after slowing down)we are back to normal when the pump has vacuum again and starts delivering fuel to the carb. I’m using a 80w-90 gear oil. So far no leaks out of the breather tube.

What is the piece for the ignition cord plug in? The oem one is like glued on. Is that a special one to run this ngk wire plug? I don’t see it in your description

Not sure what you’re asking. I only replaced the plug cable and added a thread cap to the spark plug. I also reused the factory ignition coil.

I JUST RODE MY GEN IV 150 FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHEN I GOT UP TO 45 MPH IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO FALL APART. IS THAT NORMAL OR IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT. I APPRECIATE YOUR CHANNEL BRO!

Question Bro.. Will it be possible to just use wb40 and pull the grip? Or do I have to take the control out first, then pull the handle grip. I appreciate it.

I just cut the original one with a razor blade and had to fight the new grips back on. You don’t want to use wd40 for install because it might slip off. Not sure about removal

The problem is probably the vent he put on to lower the crankcase pressure. It lowering the pressure to much change from that 1/2" to 1/8" enough to vent without losing pressure. Just saying

Did you change the oil the very 1st day you bought it or did you keep the manufacturer oil in it?

Yup. Original oil. First oil change at 300 then 600 and every 1000 miles after that. Runs great. Some people say you should change it right out the box. I didn’t.

Yeah! Check out my fuel pump video! I talk about all the tail light wiring and the colors because the fuel pump harness taps into the brake light. Yellow left turn Orange right turn Red brake light Green power Black ground

Decompression tube ROBS VACUUM this is the failure you’re having with Vacuum fuel pumps

Maybe but I went electric fuel pump. And still have the decompression tube. Got more power. Absolute unit now. Vacuum pumps are garbage. Upgrade asap. I’m sure yours works but electric is always better. Vacuum is inconsistent with engine rpm’s which means the fuel pressure does too. Electric pump has consistent fuel pressure all the time.

Took me a year to find a Sun F 185/30-14 tire. The manufacturer are worthless 0 help every time I called. I found a guy who has access to them in Florida in case anyone needs.
