The infotainment center and gauge cluster are so “long in the tooth.” And I don’t know why they gave it the troublesome Jatco CVT transmission when most of the 2022 Nissan models now have a 9 speed transmission. It is powered by an innovative turbocharged four-cylinder engine that uses variable compression-called VC-Turbo, or VC-T for short. Read this analysis to better understand how it works. The engine makes 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) that directs power to either the front or all four wheels. The engine seamlessly swaps between high compression during steady cruising and low compression during hard acceleration. While it never exhilarates when the pedal hits the metal, only those seeking a seriously quick crossover will be disappointed. Unfortunately, the engine is loud under heavy throttle, and the CVT makes this worse, especially around town.

Seriously what is the point of CVT and VC engine? Neither produced class leading mpg or hp….nobody wants that. Infiniti didn’t hear that. Good looking that about it. Gv70 blows this thing away.

This vehicle is a 'JOKE' for what and so is the interior desigh. Its value-price proposition brings the consumer. Currently, they offer no hybrid or electric option which we know is the direction vehicle manufactures must take. The value for price is just not present and this will bring about it's quick birth and death all at once. I believe most should pass on this and wait for the Audi Q4-E-Tron Sportback.
