I Love the Z1000 the Most but I don't Understand why the Biggest Litre Street Naked of the Z Line up doesn't come with a Full TFT Display with all the Rider aides, Wet, Sport, Race etc and Bluetooth GPS Connectivity Etc that some of the lower Z models have you would think that the Z1000 would be the creme dela creme of the bunch. Weird. love to hear ya Thoughts on this Kawiman?
@AussieKawiman2 жыл бұрын
I also Love the Z1000, Great balls out bike, I think all development has gone into the H2 range and they have left the Z1000 as a base tough bike. You could have separate power modes but who wants to cut the power of their bike? I am not sure that Bluetooth connectivity is a real selling point? Most bike riders are pretty practical and want to ride not stuff around with tech, Well at least i don't but then i am not 20 anymore. For instance i have never had anyone come in and ask if they can connect up to the bluetooth on the bike. But hey, Could be good to have it.. Just my thoughts. But I am not everyone.. Cheers mate..

I'll be in the market in a few months and that red and white is looking really good. I'm 99% sure I'm going to pull the trigger on a z900 this year. The mto9 has me slightly conflicted though.
@AussieKawiman2 жыл бұрын
There is always choice out there and all i say is to test ride both and see what you think for a long term bike. Most manufacturers make a good bike but the one that suits you differs between people. Although the Z9 is one awesome ride... And 948cc's of pure Kawi power. Good luck mate..

Quick Question if the SE Version isn't Available in AUS, Can the Ohlin's S46 Rear Upgraded Shock & Front Fully Adjustable Front Fork with the Brembo's Brake & Line Package from the SE Z900 Version be Bought and added and installed as a addon Purchase Separately or are Kawasaki not selling these components as an Upgrade option if Requested on the Standard Z900 model? And Purely only available on the SE Version from Factory?
@AussieKawiman2 жыл бұрын
So far only available on the stock sold. Will keep looking though. But i rekon price would smash it out of the ball park..
@CHRIS_CREATIONS2 жыл бұрын
@@AussieKawiman Yeah that's Fair, Not Package addons would definitely cost alot more.

@@AussieKawiman Really? That's a HUGE LET DOWN! I Mean I don't understand why? Having the Upgraded front Forks with the Premium Rear Race/Sport Shock & Performance Package Upgrades, Upgraded Brembo Brakes, Fully Adjustable Preload & Dampening, Rear Ohlin's Fully Adjustable Rear Shock and Pillion adjustment as well, On top of that the SE version Comes with Bluetooth Connectivity Which in Today World things like GPS SAT Nav and Phone Connectivity is a Standard which all the other Manufactures offer in the same Range, In My Opinion This would have been a Massive selling point here in Australia against it's Rivals ...Whilst it Does have more HP Engine Power than other Manufacturers in the same Range it Lacks hugely in Driving Aides and Performance Accessories that other Manufacturers Offer ..Honestly I Really Think Kawasaki need to take a Really Hard look at themselves if they Want to increase sales and be more competitive against Yamaha MT-09 & MT-10 & SP Performance Options like KTM's 890 Duke R & Suzuki GSX-S series in the Australian Market, Kawasaki have REALLY DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS ONE in My Opinion, The Lack of Performance Options out of the Factory even with say the Kawasaki Z1000 with No TFT Display or Bluetooth in Todays day is like having No AC in a Car? IT"S A NO BRAINER....Realistically they just keep bring out the Same Z-series bikes in Different Colours pretty much which is very disappointing. It's those details that make a Bike more Rider Friendly and Capable with Responsiveness. Like a Quick shifter, Quick Select Riding Modes, Traction Control, Anti Wheelie, Stability Assist and Dampening, TFT Displays and Suspension Tuning, That are making other Manufacturers Pull ahead in the Market against Kawasaki & Honda's Range of Bike's that Come with ABS that's 20year old tech in the Naked Range on top of that only SOME models come with a TFT display if your lucky in the 2021 & 2022 models and that's it. These Upgrades from other Manufacturers are cheap and Easy to Manufacture these days and are so mainstream in todays Tech market it doesn't make any Sense. Like the Z series looks Great but Lacks so Many features other Manufactures offer that and No Performance Package Models is a Huge Downfall, Very Sad because if you want a all weather Street bike that can be Great for Track Days the Basic Z900 or Z1000 isn't no were near as able in Suspension and Tech and Features as other models keeping up with todays Tech and Rider aides Straight out of the Factory. That to me is a Sales Killer. DONT GET ME WRONG I Love Kawasaki I've Owned a ZX10R and 650R and a Vulcan, But I would much rather pay an extra $2000 or more for the Extra SE or Yamaha a SP model, KTM 890 Duke, Suzuki's GSX - S series or a even Higher End V2 Ducati Street Fighter than have a late Early 2000's Tech Spec Featured Bike at almost the same Price as other Manufactures Straight out of the Factory. Yet Kawasaki attempt to make up for these short falls by being cheaper if your lucky by $600- $1000 than its main competitors, Having more Engine Power is one thing but without all the Performance Feature's that other Manufactures offer I feel Kawasaki are now Appealing to the Lower End Consumer Rather than adopting today current technology which is now as mainstream as a Kid's tablet lol. "I LOVE THE Z900 & Z1000" Look But it Lacks MASSIVELY in Modern Day Tech that is So Cheap and Mainstream it Make No Sense at all not to have these Options on the these Z-SERIES Bikes let alone the Basic SE Upgrade Option which is Basically the Stock Version of other Manufacture Bikes out of the Factory here in Australia. Love the Bikes But Can't Justify Buying a New Sports Naked with 10-15yr Old Tech for the Same price or slightly less than other Manufacturers that come fully Spec out. That Said Keep Up the Vids Mate Your a Genuine Bloke that tells it like it is. Cheers Signed Disappointed Kwaka Rider!

@@CHRIS_CREATIONS , Well that was a long one. Sounds like you need a Ninja 1000 then? all good, I think it is a supply issue from factory and definitely not Kawasaki Australia. As they are only offered certain models form factory. Believe me I have spoken to the guys from Kawasaki Aust and told them i had 50 units covered and would commit to an order. They said that they do not have this available for import into Australia as yet. As yet is the word. May have availability later in 22 or early 23?? thanks for being so passionate about motorcycling and not afraid to express it. Enjoy..

@@AussieKawiman hahahahahahahaha, Sorry about that I got a Bit carried away lol, Been Riding Motorcycle for a Very Long Time 20+yrs, Dirt and Road & Track, So I do a lot of Research on Newer Models as well Comparison wise. I had a ZX10R and a Victory 1700 8 Ball was my last 2 bikes, But what a lot of People don't realise is the smaller litre bikes actually handle better in the corners and are more nimble lightweight and a great bike to ride around town to ride on rather than a litre bike. Even on the Track the 600+ Plus bikes will always out break and corner better than a litre bike. So for around town and the Twisties you can't go past a Mid CC bike in my opinion anyway. But Yeah well atleast that's something anyway that they may consider the SE Model to have brought over better later than never. I just think it would be more competitive along side the SP Yammy's and Dukes etc in a Similar price bracket. Cheers

@@CHRIS_CREATIONS Love the 600cc on the track, I used to have an R1 on the track and grabbed a ride on a R6, Well what fun the R6 was compared to R1, So much fun getting on the gas early out of corners and gaining on the litre bikes, As well as late braking under the big bikes, Loved it..You just bought back some good memories there..
