@3:07 | I looked at a number of hatches being that I store tools for work in my hatch. You'd be surprised how flimsy some of the hatch floors are compared to the Kia. Some rely on the wheel below it to provide support. When you're discussing the 'lip', you have the floor in the top position. That's a two-position deck. you can change its position to lower that hatch floor about 4 inches (guess), personally I would get a second floor and have both in place to provide me a little hidden storage for tools and such. Also you have the rear seats in their back position. When necessary those seats can sit in a more forward position to further increase storage capacity.

Thanks for watching. I realized the second position after I was clearing out my things for them to take it. I figured others are flimsy. Sometimes I carry a lot of camera gear and was worried when I saw the weight limit on it lol.

Maybe not 4 inches, maybe 3 inches.

I don’t think this is an EX. I own a 2021 EX. My seats are power, leather, and with lumbar support. Also, the blue trim is on the lower trim, LX or S?, not the EX. The EX has a 2 liter 4 cylinder CVT, not the turbo engine.

Thanks for watching. This was an EX and all the paperwork we go through indicated as such. I also had to clarify with them if it was and they confirmed. Kia had shifts in their options for the different trims for the 2022 model year.
