Looking forward to a drive review - I have the previous model with a diesel engine. It has been fantastic. The torque has increased by 17 Nm. I am shocked, though, that despite a bigger body and longer wheelbases, the fuel capacity has been dropped from 62 litres to 54 litres. One strength of mine was the long range for country driving. The Hyundai has suffered the same fate. They have, at least kept the full size spare wheel. Again, country drivers appreciate that feature.

Thanks for the review. Hope you don't mind me asking a question about its sound system. Is Kia GT line's sound system better than "Bose". I have Renault koleos intens with Bose speakers,they are unbelievable,impeccable sound quality.

Currently with supply shortages, manufacturers are producing more higher spec models as that’s where demand sits in the current market. Generally with car reviews, manufacturers will provide us access to cars and they’ll usually provide higher spec models so that we can review all the features available throughout the range however I do my best to get a good balance when possible.

That’s because it was a phone that was used for demonstration as we didn’t have a tablet on hand. Definitely not for jackets but you can do that if you’d like also 🙂

Do all reviewers just copy from the last person who did a review because you all have no idea about the coat hanger in the rear of the front seat headrests. How could you even think it is a mobile or tablet holder? The smallest amount of logic must tell you that if you were to drive with any device there it would fall out on the first corner!?!?!? How about reading the manual for cars you are reviewing? It clearly says that the hook is a coat hanger!!! What else did you get wrong in this review if you can’t get that right? 🙄

I’m sorry you’re having a bad day and that our error has caused such upset and turmoil. We are all human and unfortunately human error is part of life. When we received this car, it had no manuals or log books inside it so we were unable to double check. We haven’t gone to another reviewer to get our facts as per your accusation, but we did place a tablet in the holder before the video was filmed (which we left at home on the day of filming) and we tested it for movement while accelerating and cornering as we thought it could be a danger to children and it remained in place so we went with our best judgement on tablet vs coat holder. In this instance we were wrong. Please accept our apologies. Hope you have an amazing day and find some reviews that make you feel happier than ours did today.

Well, what can I say? Lots of good information, but. Only a split seat in the rear, no HUD, all that technology but you need to buy the lower ranges to get wireless apple car play and android to work because you have satellite navigation, which makes the wireless charging useless?????😂 The reviewer remarked that you could not fit bigger bottles in the side door wells but there is plenty of storage elsewhere. I was waiting, then was shown you couldn't fit bigger bottles in the front bottle holders, a little after a quick opening and closing of the centre console, with no video view inside? Followed by the comment, " nothing to write home about." Funniest thing I have heard for awhile.Is there something people are not suppose to see in this console as this is the second time i have seen this from a reviewer? My question is, where is the plenty of other storage located? I think by memory also auto tail gates are only fitted on the GT line only. One would expect buying a new car even the middle range would include it, the hands free foot swipe could have been used only on the GT line to define its difference and have this as standard on your middle range. Poor decision Kia. Rear seats are not heated also and no climate control there? Cheap as chips for their best model. Ohhhhhh, yes the screen mentioned many a times and pointed out as being colour, 😂.? Shame the only model anyone should buy is the Kia GT Line 2L Turbo Diesel, all the other drivetrains avoid, underpowered and run from the DCT Transmission. Still plugging in my phone to use apple car play is a no no for me.😂. So why they even have the wireless charging is a joke, after all who uses any other system besides apple and android? Stupid plugging in a cord everytime I get in the car, trying to push it in the crack, breaking cables every 3 months...far out it's 2023 now. I could keep going on....😊, but am going to stop. IMHO if your considering this car test all the highest spec. competitors in this segment.
