I don't see too many of these on the road, but when I do, I make sure I look twice

In tampa FL i probably see 1 stinger per week, and when i do, i make sure to look thrice.

Yep! Whenever I see this I'm taking a good 10 seconds to look at it! This is one vehicle I can't ignore. The same can't be said about every BMW I see.

I’m always checking out Kia Stingers on the road too even though I have 2021 Stinger GT1!
@hellkitty10143 жыл бұрын
The Stinger GT is an amazing car that is hiding in plain site. It is astonishing to me that it is not more popular(outside of enthusiasts circles) than it is. The GT2 perhaps begs the question if a 440i or S5 are necessary beyond their nameplates, especially now that Kia has refreshed the interior. I also hear that Kia really worked on NVH and build quality over the 18-20 model. If I were in the market in this class, the Kia would get top priority, even over the G70(tight rear seat is a deal breaker).

Totally agree with your comment HellKitty. In my humble opinion, it is the best car on the road when you consider, price, standard equipment, performance, driving equipment and warranty. I am biased though as I love mine.
@hellkitty10143 жыл бұрын
@@belvederedog2563 I certainly agree. Factoing in great style, Kia's generous warranty and above avg reliability, and performance/$, it seems to be an unbeatable package. I've noticed Kia doesn't market it in the way that it does the K5(understandable given the cost and class diffeence), so some of that may be at play. Some have said things about the price, but the price is just right considering the Germans are at least $10k more with inferior equipment and questionable reliability.
@belvederedog25633 жыл бұрын
@@hellkitty1014 Similar here in Australia. Not as much marketing as some of their other models hence why there are so few on the road. By the way, I have the top of the range GT here in Oz. A similar specced German equivalent would cost approximately AUD$70K more which is twice the price of the Stinger.

Excellent video as always. That red interior is stunning. I nearly bought my black one with the red interior but SWMBO wanted the light grey. It is a great colour but it does take on a patina from dark clothes so must keep cleaning the seats

When Kia brought out the stinger I thought it was a pretty nice looking car but at that price point they were going to struggle to pull German sport sedan buyers away. I anticipated them not being around too long before being discontinued
@gangatalishis2 жыл бұрын
exactly, its a great car but for a bit more why wouldnt I just go with a German luxury or even a Lexus?

Rear seat isn't that far off of the typical midsize car(smaller than an Accord, but on par with the K5 and Camry).
