2022 Kindle Review - Denim Blue (11th gen)

I traded in my Paperwhite Signature Edition for this and couldn’t be more pleased. I’m sure many will think I’m nuts but the size of this new basic kindle plus the non-flush sunken screen is HUGE for me. So much easier to take with you since it’s about the size of your phone and the indented screen simply looks so much better to me.

Hi! Didn't you find it noticeably slower? I tried both models today at a shop and that's what I noticed.

@@Garciaformica The difference in speed is so minuscule that it’s irrelevant for me honestly. The size and sunken screen are way more important to me.

I love my black basic I bought the Amazon fabric cover so do not think scratching will be a problem Thanks for the great review I am new to Kindle reading so seeing all the settings was very helpful

I've had a onyx poke 3 for a while now, moon reader pro installed, bookerly font installed the amount of configuration is insane unlike the basic kindle app

BRUH,I just bought the Kindle Basic in the start of the year 2022,If I would have known that this was going to launch then I would go with this one as it looks way cooler and also supports dark mode

Thanks for the vdo! It’s really informative. Just one more tip, you may use a pop socket at the back of the kindle. This makes it even easier to hold. I can’t wait for my Kindle to arrive!

here in Brazil I bought the new kindle on pre-sale in September it should've arrived today, but amazon is saying to people here we will have to wait till April. Very disappointed... They don't care about their costumers

i own the10th gen and i love it , the 167 dpi are good enough for comfortable reading .....the small device is perfect for pocket . the only one thing i missed is usb-c .

I prefer this to the paperwhite because the flush screen on the paper white is done with a coating that causes a reflective glare

I have a Paperwhite Gen 3 (2015), and I'm still unsure if I should upgrade to a Kindle Gen 11 or Paperwhite 5... my batt also seems to be dying out pretty quickly - in days not weeks like before. What's your opinion?

Can you plug it into a computer and save your own EPUB or PDF file or even JPG file, or are you restricted to just downloading books from Kindle / Amazon.

Yep worked this out - so bought the Kobo which has no restrictions on downloading free pirated or borrowed ebooks.

Actually I just figured out that u can actually transfer downloaded epub using kindle app, and there’s no problem at all for the kindle to read it.
