I like it too, would be even better with pop-up lights. With that said I think the people claiming it was worthy more than a rebodied existing vehicle have a good reason to dislike it. My problem is I see Aventador still too much.

Man, I love that interior. In regard to the design, I think it looks very good, but for such an iconic model, they should have made it even more memorable. I've seen so many concepts and edited images online based on the Countach, many of those images had me dreaming they would do a remake. My expectations on this one were extreme.

The exterior is so stunning it's easy to miss how the interior is also a work of art. Not a lambo fan but it's definitely the best looking recent car that's being made. Everything is just insanely overcomplicated and childish. This is harmonious, elegant and respects the car heritage. Sporty and distinguished. Really rare! Then there's the technology.

Love the new updated retro design. As a kid I had a poster of the original Countach - and hafta' say this does the lineage justice. The interior is gorgeous - but that white would need constant cleaning and care to stay looking good.

It's impossible to fit a dual clutch because of the way the aventador is built. Don't be fooled, it's an aventador with a twist and nothing more. But it's still awesome that they made it. I hope they'll do the same with the Diablo.

I think the frunk was designed to fit two helmets, but not positive. Agreed on the taillights, and while I normally hate white-out or triple-white cars, this one looks nice in it. If you need a short driver, I'm 5'7 🤣

Shame it doesn't have a manual gearbox. For those of us old enough to remember the first of the original Countach also had very clean lines and no silly wings or wheel arch extensions.

Funny that the guy who invented canon ball run stopped doing it after a friend of his bought one of these to run in the race because he realized that it was to dangerous to drive that fast with a person who didn't have enough experience to drive a car of that caliber.... Having grown up with the poster on my bedroom wall, it's nice to see it come back in recognizable fashion. In case he didnt realize, he liked the a/c vents but not the tail lights and they're the same shape if I'm not mistaken. I do wish that they did more of the retro vibe with the tail lights, it would have helped tbh

It's not a 1985 Lamborghini Countach. It looks slick but whoever designed this one had no soul This car is designed not by a Lamborghini enthusiast who knows every bolt of a Countach but someone who imagines this is what people get into when they think Countach. This was designed by a millennial anime fan boy who doesn't either Sergio Leone or Dino De Laurent is can make movies, figures Maserati can't build a car, and da Vinci couldn't pick women to print with the Mona Lisa. This new 2022 Countach is STERILE, LACKS IMAGINATION, AND LOOKS LIKE ONLY ROB0COP WOULD EVER DRIVE IT. Worse, it looks like the same effort went into it as a Toyota Corolla. The new Acura MDX is homologated GT3 CAR with barely the muffler changed from the race track. I will never own a piece of sh** like this door stop wedge monsterosity that Makes you want to take it's poster off the wall. This is vomitous and makes me want to buy a 1984 BMW M1 at auction or real Shelby Cobra Or Super Snake or Dodge Charger HEMI. I feel truly nauseated looking at this car. This car was made to please European regulators they are unable to pick up good looking women so they design exotic sports cars through the back door so as to make sure real winners can't get them either. WRONG. I can get a 3,000 horsepower car in the U ited States for less than $50,000 and Daisy Duke will be sitting in the passenger seat, not some European regulators mad that his pay heck can't afford more than a mini Cooper or entry level Fiat. No offense. Know that I weep for Lamborghini. I am grieved in my soul. I was 11 or 12 when I saw a real Countach that was BRAND NEW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AMERICA. My manhood is weeping. Play taps like an Italian funeral dirge in New Orleans. Barrfff. Get me the toilet bowl scrub brush and some Drain-O: I need to cleanse my soul. HOLY WATER STAT! This is way scarier than d horror movie. Some obnoxious regulatory turd and useless bookworm in the accounting department at Lamborghini expects me to like this piece of garbage! $2.5 million? It ain't worth 2.5 cents. If Lamborghini hired me, I'd put together a team they could build a real car. 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds, 0-120 in less than a 1/4 mile, run corner to corner of a city block back 2 tired only, cost $50,000 to prototype and is likely track only with a few law oriented mods of a cosmetic nature to put it on the streets. Regulation was invented to keep the poor from having fun. This car insults the intelligence of anyone who liked to tell the engine exhaust. I'm literally crying inside. I had a dream once. Clearly Syd Mead does not work for these guys and Pininfarina is less desirable than Toyota's most boring designs possible. Mama! Mama mia! Get the designer of this car a pair of nuts for his wheels.

For the price, it should have the classic late model Countach wing, except one that actually works and has the active aero tech from the Performante. Hell both ends should have active aero for this price. Then it might be worth closer to the scratch they are asking. Still looks great, especially in this package (although the black side intake would look better if it were just white, it competes too much with the window imo). But I agree with the others in the comments saying something is missing...

I like that the new Countach actually has the performance to back up the looks. The original Countach remains one of the wildest, and most gorgeous, cars ever made, but it never had the performance "steak" to match the appearance "sizzle". Still, at $2.5 million, I could easily buy a Ferrari, another Lamborghini, a Ford GT and a McLaren and still have money left over.

Grew up with the Countach poster on my wall. I like this version. I think they did a good job on making it favor the old car. Just one note. You said you hated the tail lights but loved the air vents up front on the dash. Funny thing is the tail lights and the air vents on the dash look like the same shape.
