Awesome run for Nick shooting his way to the top. Great job Nick. Keep your eye on Bodie Turner that kid can shoot with the big dogs and has time on his side, really enjoy watching a young shooter with a lot of talent.

Kenne mich mit Bogenschiessen nicht aus, kann mir jemand sagen wieso ein grauer Punkt weiter unten auf der Zielscheibe ist?
@kevinhippler97212 жыл бұрын

Can't believe someone like Kyle Douglas pissed the title away as he did. 👎🏼 Talk about giving the title away to Kappers on a silver platter. Guess his overconfidence did him in!
@pjreilly39972 жыл бұрын
Just to offer some perspective......Nick would move his sight when he planned to shoot at the 12. Nick was going to take the last shot. As Kyle prepared to take his last shot, he saw Nick moving his sight, indicating that Nick planned to shoot at the 12 for the last shot. If Kyle shot at the 11 and Nick hit the 12, Kyle would have lost anyway. So Kyle went for the 12 with his last shot to avoid getting beat on the last shot. He took the shot he had to take to stay in the match. He just didn't hit it......
@Sagittariustoo2 жыл бұрын
@@pjreilly3997 Thanks for the explanation, PJ. 👍🏻 That makes sense and is understandable from a strategic point of view. That 12 point dot can cause you to lose to your opponent or give you a chance to defeat him depending on the circumstance. It one way I like the 12 dot rule but in another I don't.
@pjreilly39972 жыл бұрын
@@Sagittariustoo The tough part about target archery for spectating is making it exciting. If you are not an archer, it can be like watching paint dry. We added the 12 to add an element of strategy and excitement that goes beyond simply hitting the middle and hoping the other guy misses.

What a shame archery 🏹 hasn't kept its original form like cricket and baseball.. Adding all these pullys and counter weights is wrong.... Imagine watching baseball being played with a tennis ball 😮 Because it makes it easier wtf
@pkpzx2462 жыл бұрын
Except you're wrong. Cricket current allows carbon fiber to be added to bats and uses a smart ball to track information. Baseball didn't use to have gloves, but based on your comment I guess they shouldn't use them now because it makes it easier to catch the ball.
@sahhull2 жыл бұрын
Like h3f said: Cricket and baseball have changed from their original forms. So your point is moot
@drew60822 жыл бұрын
It is much harder than you know, even with all the equipment these gentlemen have the average person couldn't shoot 5 11's in a row I'd they had to under pressure.
@troycann17312 жыл бұрын
I've read all the comments.. Firstly the cricket stuff was tried and removed. Secondly the baseball without gloves clearly had to evolve for safety of hands. Archery on the other hand didn't have any safety concerns to warrant pulleys and weights..I will accept finger gloves as a safety concern but not the weights and pulleys... I love to see some specs from the same distance with a natural bow compared to a heavily modified cheating bow...
@troycann17312 жыл бұрын
@@drew6082 if you could compare competition specs over the same distance between compound and natural that would be great.. I'm pretty sure a professional natural shooter will and almost shit all over the heavily weighted bows I'd love to see the difference from a professional level
