@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD trust me the mileage will not improve that much. check the lx600 u will see
This vehicle comes with two different OEM tires. The two could not be more different. The Bridgestone Duelers on the car you tested are marshmallows and you get a soft ride, body lean and you don't get the performance of the full time four wheel when you push it into a corner. Unfortunately, you can't choose your tires and mine came with the Bridgestones. I put the other OEM Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires on it and the driving difference is extremely evident. Much more of a firmer, sport ride. Better control in avoidance maneuvers and cornering. Huge difference. It's really fun to drive with the all wheel drive train. This is an older design and all the comments about the updates, gas mileage, gauge cluster are all valid. But this thing will run, on and off road. It's also a good size without needing two spots to get it parked. The second row is adjustable if you need to put adults in the third row, and it is super comfortable. You can use voice command and actually need very few of the switches and buttons to utilize most features, but they are there if you prefer. And it still has a CD player. And remote start from the key fob. And you can program the key fob to add a feature to open all windows and the sun roof at the same time. I'm going to run this one for a while and see how it goes. And it looks good...

@Ill06Taco2 жыл бұрын
Black line is the base model with premium trim features, which means you can't order one with ML...very disappointing. All of the black line parts you can get separately but it's going to cost WAY (easily 5x more if you consider labor cost) more to add them yourself after the fact. Adding ML after the fact would be theoretically cheaper but I don't think it's plug and play...you would likely need a new body harness, radio, amplifier, speakers, LH cargo area trim panel. But even all of that is going to be many thousands of dollars. I sent an email to Lexus to offer it, maybe everyone should too!
@sly92632 жыл бұрын
@@Ill06Taco from what I heard you can get a couple midgrade aftermarket speakers to replace stock and its superior to the ML. Mark Levinson is a low, midgrade sound system that Lexus overcharges for bigtime anyway. It's old as hell and there's way better stuff out there for less than half the cost. That said, is the ML good enough for your average buyer looking for a half decent sound system? Absolutely. If you can't find the GX you want with the ML but it has everything else you're after, then its pretty easy to put in some aftermarket (yourself or pay someone) that's going to sound better anyway.

it's an offroad focused vehicle, why would u want anything more than 18 inches on it?

Was that a CD player? Why not make a cassette slot for it while they’re at it. Rear tail lights and real interior redesign are urgently needed in this SUV. Hate the fact that Toyota doesn’t import the Land Cruiser Prado for the U.S. market.

I still believe this vehicle is outdated. Needs to improve overall in the look of the exterior and interior. I do like the ruggedness and how good the interior is put together.

Digital clock is disappointing. And to make it worse why dedicate so much space just for a tiny digital clock. That's stupid for something that has a redesigned interior.

To my admittedly untrained eye there’s not much improved in the 2022. Laughable swing-out rear door remains a dealbreaker for most. The last-last-generation undersized sunroof is, well, unimpressive. And what can I say above a car reviewer who enthuses that faux leather is “premium.” Yikes. I like the looks of the GX460. Always have. I don’t want or need a third-row seat but the fold flat system on the GX is a winner. It is clear to me Lexus doesn’t really invest much in this model’s evolution.
@ayushmalpeddi27933 жыл бұрын
Ya for some reason they sell well sill and more year-over-year. I never even liked this generation due to the weirdly long overhangs, hideous grille which isn't even slightly integrated, etc. At least they finally improved the infotainment system and made it decent. Also LED exterior lights makes it alright. Overall, it is a decent car for its price now that it is more update to date. Still has lots to improve on though.

Despite all these comments on how outdated this GX is, it is hard to get one, specially the 2022 model. Toyota and Lexus do not have much of a chip shortage issue compare to other manufacturers, but this 2022 GX are sold before they get to dealerships.

It’s still very outdated. No digital gauge cluster, no LED turnsignals, V8 that only makes 300hp?
@alh063 жыл бұрын
You don’t need a digital gauge cluster. They’re actually cheaper. There are LED turnsignals. The V8 has more than enough power and is bulletproof
@Littleathquakes3 жыл бұрын
@@alh06 no it doesn’t. It’s underpowered. I have a 2016 & really wish it had more oomph. But it’s reliable so I live with it.
