In another video I believe you mentioned you owned a Maserati if I heard correctly. What’s is the usual depreciation on a Quattroporte or Levante with V6 turbo? And what are expected maintenance costs in Florida (oil changes , brake pads and rotors) ?

Driving off the lot as new is about 20-25% depending on how much Maserati gives off at purchase price (sometimes they drop 10-15k off). After 2 years of ownership expect about 10-15%. If you buy one with all the features it drops less but you pay more for the features. Year three breaks even and the first big drop is at warranty expires (another 10/15%) which is about 50-60% value loss. After these drops, the next big dip is 25,000 miles or 50,000 miles then 75,000 miles which both can go from 10-25% drops Oil change is about 550 Plugs 1000 Belts 1250 Filters 250-350 Battery 1100 Transmission flush 250 Power steering flush 250 The way Maserati service works is a 1-4 plain Year one about 500-600 Year two 750-1000 Year three 1000-1250 Year four 1250-1500 Then it starts back to year one. Prices change at every dealership and some services you can do for a big savings 👍

Wow you know your Numbers … what about reliability of the.turbo 6 ? Any views ? Would you road trio a Levante on a 1200 mile family trip Mami to Carolinas ? I thought the Quatroporte had more rear passenger space but found the seats hard as a bus bench .. i compares against Porsche Cayenne which were more confortable .. still there’s something much cooler about the Italians v Germanas

@@al_f.miami.semperefideles2879 I’m at 52,000 ish miles no problems, I have asked personal, my service guys have explained to me that it’s uncommon but the rear does go out around 45-75k miles which also happens with the Porsche. For a new rear end about 2500. This is common on almost every high performance vehicle but I have not had any problems with it. This is my second Maserati in which I keep this one after warranty to see. So far it’s fine and I drive it to every review, bought both new, this one is a 2016 with every feature 😁.

@@HawkeyeRides is it a v6 turbo or V8 ? What model ? For me , I think I’d be fine with the 6 … I test drove the 2 door coupe as well .. amazing cornering .. and change of direction ..

Anybody know what that rattle was when it was being revved? Currently doing a safety inspection on one and it does this. Idk I would like to have an answer for that. To me it sounds like the waste gate chatter/rattle or like the ring of an old flex pipe mesh that rusted off but pretty sure that's not it since it only has 7k.

Active exhaust, BMW, MB, Audi, etc they all do it, it’s normal. The only other thing it can be is sometimes the built needs to be tightened, I had that happen on my Maserati. Dealership will tighten free under warranty and most of the time after.
