For all of its faults, the Levante is still a quite unique offering. One can never get enough of that exhaust, especially if you spring for the Ferrari V8s. I really think the materials in the interior come together very well, especially using the Italian-sourced cotton-silk. Yes, it has FCA and Mercedes bits here and there. And thank God it does. It would not be fun to have it fixed if it were Italian-exclusive(ask ANY Ferrari owner). UConnect 5 is likely the best system to debut this year, and while I wish Maserati would've added its own graphics and skins(in addition to at least a 12" screen), I think the compromise works. All of that said, ALL Maseratis are either a lease or buy second-hand propositions. Their resale is beyond atrocious.

I like the styling of the exterior. The interior not so much. I mean aside from the air suspension which is something I wouldn’t want any parts of especially in a Maserati you can get the GV80 for less with more horsepower and better interior styling if you want a “different” vehicle. But as was mentioned at this price range buyers aren’t worried about reliability.
@Natethegreat200c2 жыл бұрын
Why do y’all try n sneak in a kia in every comment section of a car video. That kia won’t ride as well , handle as well, or have the interior quality this Maserati has. Looks can and will be deceiving in the kia with all that nicely styled hard plastic. Especially towards the bottom of the cabin. These have been very reliable per hoodies garage and car wizards findings. Also no issues with the air ride. I was terrified of air ride until a few days ago. Met someone with a Lexus With air ride 200k never touch the bags. I seen car wow but three Luxury 20 year old sedans , merc bmw and Lexus two of which had air ride and it worked fine.
@DM-xt3rl2 жыл бұрын
@@Natethegreat200c Well a GV80 isn’t a Kia………Additionally I don’t think anyone hasn’t seen a and older German car or a Range Rover with air suspension that isn’t smashed low to the ground indicating that it is in need of repair. You are more likely to encounter one that is broken than completely functional after 4-5 years of ownership and say 75-80K miles. Will be interesting to see the reliability of the Acura MDX Type S Air suspension over the years. I suspect it will be more reliable than any of the German models or this vehicle.
@Natethegreat200c2 жыл бұрын
@@DM-xt3rl 4-5 years is something Scotty Kilmer would say. That’s ridiculous. A lease is 4 years .. the cars generally don’t start having issues till 100k and that’s IF you have issues. 4 years?😂 I valet cars have parked plenty of range rovers 70-176k miles with perfectly working air ride , and all had no check engine light besides the 176k one but the air ride worked. And going by brand is simply immature. This is Acura’s first air ride in that car or first air ride period. Germans have been making air ride for decades. Yet because it’s a Honda you automatically assume it will be more reliable and it’s a first for them. Very bias.

It really says something about Fiat or Stellantis, or whatever they're calling themselves these days that they are using at least 14 year old Mercedes switch gear in a brand new Maserati. 14 + year old Mercedes switch gear is the most 'premium' product in their inventory.
@hellkitty10143 жыл бұрын
But nobody says squat about the Escalade using a turn signal stalk from a 2007 Impala or the Navigator using Ford switch gear from the turn of the 2010s. And...at the end of thr day, it is still switchgear from Mercedes. Not exactly in the downtrodden.
@mybro7273 жыл бұрын
@@hellkitty1014 Lol. There is no Chevy Impala turn signal stalk in ANY current Cadillac to date. Y’all will literally make up anything just to prove a lost point. Although you were heavily exaggerating, it’s perfectly fine for automakers to share small buttons and switches with cheaper products across their own portfolio to keep prices low as long as it looks/feels appropriate. Stellantis fetching nearly 15 year old plastic panels from Mercedes-Benz for a $158,000 2021 Maserati is a bit different, bud.
@hellkitty10143 жыл бұрын
@@mybro727 i suggest you look at the turn signal stalk again. Parts-sharing "shaming" is insane, considering that many automakers make better decisions at masking it. The Escalade is my favorite big truck by far, but that does not remove the fact, besides the big screen, it has no proprietary switchgear. The window switches can be found in all Chevys. The gear controller/screen control knob are found on Buicks. Nothing wrong with it, but we can't call out Maserati for having switchgear from a luxury brand if Cadillac is able to have non-premium brand switchgear.
@mybro7273 жыл бұрын
@@hellkitty1014 You’re not even grasping the point. It’s not that they’re using Mercedes-Benz switchgear, it’s the fact they’re using *15 year old Mercedes-Benz switchgear.* That point seemed to have completely slipped your mind. Cadillac shares switchgear with _New_ Buicks, another premium brand from General Motors. As you’ve stated there’s nothing wrong with that. These parts are new. Chevrolet has upped their quality over the years to be much closer to Buick which is why they have some of the same switches /similar looking gauges but the Cadillac Escalade shares none of this with the Chevy Impala. That was a reach.
@mybro7273 жыл бұрын
