Good review. Can get the active exhaust which has four pipes. I bought a 2020 Eco Premium in April 2021, one of only two 20’s left on the dealer lot, and really didn’t think I cared about it having the upgraded exhaust but now glad to have it. It helps a little with the sound, but mostly just looks better. It’s been a great car so far. Love the GT but just couldn’t justify the added expense and now with gas prices appreciate the mileage. It averaged 31 miles per gallon driving rural roads on a long trip in Texas hill country. $27K out the door thanks to some Ford/dealer incentives, I think it was a deal for that price.

I actually thought the exhaust sounded kinda decent or a Turbo 4! I’d still go for the V8 especially at this price point but the interior wouldn’t be nearly as nice.. Thanks for the comment!! 👍🏼

Be open-minded and dont compare it to the V-8 - it is a 4-cyl turbo sports car. I have both - a 19 Bullitt and a 22 EB - totally different drives. The only thing they have in common is the shape of the body.

Just bought this car, except dark gray. Love it. Love the motor and the auto tranny. Not your classic 5.0 but it does some work and gets you some bang for your buck. I am really pleased with it. I think its the sharpest model of recent years for sure. Ford killed it on this one.

I have a 2020 Magnetic Metallic 10 speed HPP EcoBoost Premium, which adds the paddle shifters, digital dash, Magne-ride & Handling package, all are must haves...The HPP also comes with the quad tip active exhaust, the package also deletes the resonator from the factory giving it a more aggressive exhaust sound, not GT aggressive sound, but better than the normal EcoBoost. So far I lowered it, added the hood struts & the GT350R Big Brake kit & the staggered Shelby wheels to fit over those giant brakes. Next stop Parker Performance for go fast upgrades. Love this car!

They nuked the paddle shifters because it actually slows the car down. Also the tri-bar lights on the front are not the daytime running lights, they are accent lights. If you turn the DRL's on in the menu it turns on the regular headlights at reduced power.

Not sure why this rig didn't have paddle shifters as I have the exact same packages + convertible and I have the paddle shifters, which add to the fun of the car. Not sure about the tires as a friend with a slightly older GT had them start to shred at 19 000 km and he doesn't drive it hard. I agree with all that you said and that makes me very happy with this set of wheels. B.

@@FunkyBananaBear I'm lucky and I'm very grateful that I have a brother who works for the dealership so he is really hooking me up. The dealership is only getting one of this car and this color. So I got this car before anybody else who may have wanted it. I just visited him at the dealership to sign a whole bunch of paperwork. Unfortunately the car won't be there for me to start driving it until another 2 weeks from now. It's so frustrating but at least now I know that when I get there I can pick up my car and leave while looking so totally cool :-)

Hey, I really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming quick question do you think the suspension on the GT is firmer than the suspension on the eco-boost? I’m going to switch to an eco-boost because I want it to ride smoother the GT for me is a little too stiff. (That’s because I am getting old) But I absolutely love the look of the Mustang I think it’s awesome for the price point otherwise I might as well stick with 2023 Honda Civic and I don’t want to do that. Let me know what you think about the suspension now. Thanks.

I have a 2020 Eco premium with black accent. Mine has paddle shifters and fog lights. Ford dumbed down the mustang Eco after 2020 to make more people want to go v8 by taking away little but nice options.

I bought one just like it. The problem is, the SelectShift automatic has no way to select anything. There are no paddle shifters until you get into the higher trim levels (201A and up). :(

Rental company gave me one recently. The car looked nice sound system was solid great features like cooling/heated seats. Exhaust sounded like cam from speakers to me. Main gripe legroom and it's really slow. My Q50 would walk it low and high. It didn't even seem faster than my 2022 F250.

F250? This thing won’t blow you away with speed but it’s still doing 60 in about 5 seconds from the factory so you’d need a tuned 3.5 f150 or a red sport to even have a chance. Don’t sleep on the 2.3 mustang!

Did you have premium or regular gas? If regular then it's because the car retards the timing to prevent knock, but you'll lose about 40 horsepower. There's a HUGE difference between the 87 and 93.

Alright Will you know I'm a Camaro guy so admittingly I'm already biased. I think the best this car looked was in the prior generation. I think the front of this generation looks like a catfish. LOL From some of the leaks I've seen for the 2023 model its not going to look much better. I think they did a nice job with the interior though. I like the steering wheel design but a flat bottom would be better. A head scratcher they didn't put LED bulbs in the interior.

There are certainly some corners cut and I also prefer the pre refresh styling but it’s still a really good looking car to me. I know you’re taking your Camaro all day tho lol (I think I would too given the price) but this has no question a nicer interior overall especially door panels IMO.
