2022 ninja 400 stuck in gear/shift shaft

Hey brother, the title is kinda hard for me to get I have the issue with my bike staying in N and not going to 1st gear. And when I shift up you can feel a full long shift But when shifting down, it feels like a short shift down from 6-2 Sometimes it feels like a good long great shift. But go from 2-1 I cant. Stuck at N or doesn’t go down Sometimes i have to be going fast or rev it hard to downshift to 1st or stomp the heck out of it. Imma get the norton race spec clucth kit. Updates my brother

check out Kawasaki Ninja 400 Shift Shaft Spacer 2018 from Spears also - it should hold the shifter out more so it doesnt fall out of the teeth

norton sells replacement shiftshafts, i think thats the issue here - kawi selling out of spec shafts.
