2022 Opening Day Dove Hunt Limit

Great start to the 2022 season. Dusted off the Benelli M2 20 gauge for its first dove shoot.

Nah, I only have papers for 12 gauge. I was shooting a mixture of some Rio factory loads and some of my reloads with the old AACF hulls and #8 shot. Probably dumb because I lost a few of the empties out there, but I love those old AA hulls.

What region are you in? West or Southwest? It looks a little like New Mexico, when I was there many years ago with the Army. Nice shooting.

Yep, southwest…AZ specifically. Probably not that much different from NM.

What’s your opinion on the 16 gauge?, I’m thinking of getting a Citori in 16.

I just picked up an old Model 12 16 gauge a few weeks ago. I've hunted with it a few times now and have shot some ducks with it. Love the 16 gauge, need to make a video on it.
