Nobody expect these to be top-sellers, BUT i don't think Peugeot wants to sell these to everybody rin. Their buyers are not too keen on seeing a clone of their car on the streets everyday. If you didnt bother watching the video, Peugeot is more on the premium sub-luxury end of the PHL market, think Subaru/Mazda, in terms of brand positioning and sales volume: It will NOT try to cater sa masa. If ang argument is that Peugeots are pangmasa in Europe, well guess what, even in Europe Mercedes and Audi are pangmasa and YET most likely you're not complaining na BMWs or Mercedes are expensive in the Philippines diba? You just accept na they are expensive diba? Audis and Benzes are used as taxis in Europe, if u want an actual "luxury" car you go for a Maybach or Bentley. Different market different standards. Cant afford it? Others can. Don't want it? Don't buy it. Lack of features kamo? BMW does not offer the X3 with a sunroof and i bet your bottom dollar you won’t say that a Chery with a hugeass sunroof is the more appealing car. Not an ounce. Realistically it matters to many people, and a Peugeot is the better flex in the same manner. Besides, Peugeot is going upmarket in Europe din and you have to give credit na Peugeot is not Toyota-ing their PHL lineup with bare-bones features. Heck it gives you a proper panoramic sunroof and digital display nga eh. Granted, many features in other countries are not available here YET but then again youd be surprised it’s not on the top of many prospective buyers’ priority list. For reference many features were available here before (massaging seats for example) but they had to go to the sweet spot pricing-wise rin, Don’t scoff at the new products, Peugeot was already making iconic cars (Peugeot 403, 106, 205, 306, to name a few) when Geely still had a garbage lineup. It’s a 150-year old European brand for God’s sake.

Unfortunately, all the excitement and proudness to own one has become a nightmare. My unit has engine issues, it dies and does not accelerate. My car was in the casa for almost 3 months for a fuel tank system replacement. Parts were imported and delivery was so delayed. One month after the repair (Sept 10) , my car was towed again back to the casa because the engine issue is back. After Sales of Peugeot is really bad, it will really test your parience. Be warned, if you want to switch to Peugeot.

​ @Chester Vicencio sounds like something that can happen with any brand that is not a Toyota. Minalas with the unit; lemon car in other words. Unfortunate to hear about incidences like this tho, especially since many other buyers encountered no issues whatsoever din.

@@CrossCuntyRic definitely agree that mine may be a lemon car. What's frustrating though are the requirements to demand for a replacement based on lemon law. Imagine, at least 4 repair attempts for the same issue within 1 year from purchase date. My car is now 6 months old, half of its life was spent in the casa, and that counts as 1 repair attempt

Hope you are ok now with your Peugeot. I love French autos too. I have owned and used atleast three cars na din for the last ten years.. 2Citroens and 1 Renault. Yeah, true.. their reliability is not as high as JP, KR or CN cars. But what I love about these FR cars is, they give you different attitude and character on the road. So, love it! I actually prefer the stock type cruise. Much easier to memorize. I don't have to look down to figure out how it works. Getting used to the steering button type though

Most of the complainers are from rival dealers. Just found out today when I had my Peugeot serviced.. met a vlogger and some dealers pala are requesting to provide bad review to other cars and some of those who had "problem" with Peugeot are mostly agents of rival dealer, mostly Chinese car agents.

You did not mentioned if it comes with a rear camera or 360 camera. Also if those rear twin exhaust are real or just for porma. Also did talk about the audio system and how many speakers.

I have owned a 3008 for just 3 years and with only 32k miles on the clock the engine is ruined because of a wet timing belt. Having to fight Peugeot to get a them to cover the costs for a new engine. They are refusing as its out of warranty. Beware of these issues before buying.

Decent looking crossover. Filipinos, how are Peugeot doing sales-wise in PH? Here in India, their sister brand Citroën isn’t doing great, mostly because their first launch, the C5 Aircross, was grossly overpriced and then their next launch, the C3, lacked a lot of equipment (no rear wiper, no electric mirror adjusters, no tachometer etc.)

For me hassle parin iyun at mas,,..Ok na din sakin kung nasa steering wheel na din iyong cruise control niya Imbis na nasa STOCK Speaking of which! That is one,.BIG BOOT! Trunk space Na cguro apat,.Na balikbayan boxes ay kakasiya narin dun Pero,.One dippy downer for me naman na here in the 3008! Is iyong cup/bottle holders niya na ang kakasiya lang din,,..Ay iyong mga baso ng mga fastfood resto's narin at kapag mag lalagay ka naman na.Ng water bottle/tumbler mo ay doon nalang din sa center kung apat lang din apat na sasakay And kung pipiliin ko,.Iyong 5008 dito sa 3008 mas gugustohin kopa itong 3008 Kasi 4-5 seater na siya e di katulad doon sa 5008,,..Na 7 seater para sa akin afterthought lang din iyong isang upoan niya doon sa cargo niya Kaya,.If ever! Given the chance that I'm going to buy a crossover in Peugeot it's either the 2008 or this,,..The 3008 but not the 5008 Since,.Just like the 2008! I also love everything of this car the 3008 it's just too cool to be true As for the 2008 is just too cute and cool to be true too 😉
