I see alot of people making comments on the 33s instead of 35s. Had anyone stopped to think that they built this truck for extreme off reading and rock climbing etc etc. They even added a sway bar disconnect to maximize articulation. So to me it makes perfect sense to have a smaller tire to help achieve that goal.

I’m a dodge guy but I’ll give it to the 7.3, I had a bad experience with the 6.4, gave me the hemi tick at 45k miles and it all went downhill from there.

With the 7.3 there are issues with it misfiring and stuck lifters. Every engine has problems.

I like the Tremor better. That 7.3 is awesome but it would depend on what you are looking for. Ram would most likely do better off road, but the Tremor you can haul, tow and hit the trails.

My PW is sitting on 37's with fox shocks. My buddies tremor can't even come close to keeping up. We've actually had to leave it in some spots and he jumped in with me. Disconnecting sway bar...front and rear diffs lol come on man

I’m a Mopar guy but give me the Tremor in Antimatter Blue. The PW is awesome though. Can’t go wrong either way. Edit: I forgot how nice the Ram interiors are. My goodness. Idk anymore lol

I've been shopping and I've looked at damn near every truck you can think of and for the price and features I keep coming right back to the PW. Ford has back locking dif and that's about it. Their interior is laughable. The only other truck I'd get besides the PW would be the gmc at4x. But even that isn't as decked out as the pw and the pw interior is 2nd to none at this point.

I spent a few days in a Ram Laramie Longhorn then a few in a well-equipped F150 Lariat and the Ram didn’t hold a candle to the F150. And now with the GMC refresh, the Ram is third in my book. And yes, I understand the Ram interior is the oldest of the bunch.

Ford looks tacky inside with lots of cheap plastic and materials. The gauge cluster is almost 10 years old. Ram has much sleeker looking interior but the Tremor has the best looking exterior. Haven’t been in the new GM but really it’s all preference.

Fair comparison from a truck to truck perspective. I agree, the ram is more capable off road. You’re reviewing a completely optioned out ram, compared to a lower trim (lariat with value package I believe) tremor. Stacking a tremor with the platinum, king ranch or lariat with ultimate package against the ram would have been more appropriate. You touched on this, but the ram isn’t really practical if you’re adhering to the payload guidelines. At an average of 1,500 pounds… this is awful for a 3/4 ton truck. Guys in this segment and class of truck are normally looking to pull campers, etc. With a full load of passengers and gear, you’re not left with much payload at all. The tremor has minimum 2,500 payload, some are up to almost 4,000 pounds I believe. Yes you give up a little off-road capability, but the Ford tremor is the better all around truck.

You can almost always get a bigger discount off sticker with a Ram Vs a Ford or GM. MY experience has been paying several thousand less for a Ram similarly equipped. Tremor is a better hauler for sure but the PW rides much nicer for a daily driver with its softer suspension. Both front and rear axles in the PW are effectively a limited slip until you hit the Elock button. Can't go wrong wither way.

you can get a tremor package on a higher trim/more options. But honestly I wanted an xlt f250 tremor for the simplicity and better on road performance. Don't need to climb moab, but do need to haul a bunch shit and the occasional offroad. The rear locker is all i really needed. Both stock suspension will be modified most likely anyways.

The Power Wagon ground clearance isn't taking the axles into account. If you take the axles into play, then you have about 10" ground clearance!

Depends if you want a bad @$$ toy in HD guise or if you need actual SD truck hauling capabilities. I’d be fine with a HD off roader with half ton hauling capabilities. PW would ride better too if you don’t need SD hauling. 6.4 needs an update vs the 7.3 (some might say, nothing against the 6.4). Most people are gonna say give me a SD capable rig.

Dodge just has to many issues with that hemi motor I would stay with the super duty I have a super duty now gas motor never had one problem with it and when I tried this one, it’ll probably be another super duty with the gas motor. I don’t have time to deal with that cam having to be changed out in the motor at about 60,000 miles.

That is plain dumb. The Power Wagon is not supposed to be a grocery garage queen for a wantabe cowboy. It's very highly capable from the factory all terrain vehicle. Adding a Cummins makes it less capable and it's counter productive to the purpose of the Cummins of being an efficient and effective long haul towing vehicle.

Not to mention more cooling capability is needed for a diesel to accommodate the wench would be removed which also reduces off-road capability. With the Cummins and no wench it's almost degraded to the point off road it's a Ram 2500 which costs more. Thus there is no reason to have a Cummins Power Wagon.
