🏁 2022 road trip FINALE! Oliver goes home (via Utah) 🏁

We're back in Chicago after traveling 5,000 miles with Oliver! Watch as Oliver experiences the amazing natural beauties of the southwest for the first time, including Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park. From there we headed to Denver, where Oliver made a new doggie friend, and finally back home to Chicago, where Oliver was super excited to roll on his own bed again! Thanks to all of our fans for joining us on this amazing journey to the Pacific Ocean and back!

Oliver loves travelling around, but after 5000 miles he is probably glad to be at home again. His 'inspektion' tells him that nothing has changed, and he can relax now from his great adventure trip with his family. it's amazing, how he watched everything carefully while driving. What a wonderful adventure. Bryce Canyon is not too far away from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It's beautiful up there, and much different than the more popular south rim. It's higher in elevation than the south rim, so it's quite pleasant even in the summer. It's very woodsy. We saw wild turkeys, and deer. You can rent cabins. I woke up one morning and looked out the window and saw deer right in font of me just out for a stroll. It's beautiful. There is a place at the north rim where you can look and see the painted desert. If you are ever at the north rim and want to go to the south rim, you have to drive completely around it to where the canyon begins. I'm telling you this because if you are going to the Grand canyon from Chicago, you will undoubtedly get to the north rim first. The Petrified Forest is beautiful as well. However the Petrified Forest is further southeast of the Grand Canyon. One thing to realize if you ever do get a chance to go to the Grand Canyon and have it in your mind to go to the floor of the canyon, the floor is the same temperature as Phoenix. So if it's 120 degrees in Phoenix, it's 120 on the floor. You can see the south rim from the north rim, it's about 10 miles between as the crow flies. In terms of the tourists, for every 100 people at the south rim, there are 10 people at the north rim, so you aren't surrounded by tons of people. I hope you get a chance to go someday. Your friend's dog was so sweet. Oliver was glad to meet a new friend on his journey. I love the look Oliver gave when at one of the hotels in the morning laying on the bed that said, "You're not getting me in that car today. I hate the car. I want the car to go away."

Oliver and Holly were so cute together. Though he enjoyed Holly, he clearly liked being at home playing with his toys more. It was so funny how brave Holly was in defending against a stranger on the other side of the fence, but let you roam throughout her house with no problem.
