There's no need to thank us, the Oliver fans, we don't need thanking, we all watch regardless....it's more a case of thank you, all three of you for firstly taking us all on the trip to Cali, secondly your year there and all that Oliver was able to experience the for first time, truly memorable moments for you all, and lastly the road trip home, Oliver meeting your parents...and the stunning scenery around BC was just beautiful. Seeing Olivers excitement at returning home was just a sheer joy to watch, his realisation of "home sweet home at last" was just toooooooooo cute for words. I know, right? It's so clear that he recognized being home. He also remembered the spot on the bedroom dresser where we used to put his favorite bones. Later that evening he sat on the edge of the bed next to the dresser so he could check whether his bones were still there. (They weren't, but we'll put some new ones there!)

I've watched the return home segment several times now, and I think Oliver realizes he really is home at 12:22 when he jumps on the bed. He quickly runs out and checks all the rooms upstairs as well as checking the stairs leading up to the special step and it's just as he remembered it. That bed was his reference point i feel like. Then he goes hyper after that. So very adorable.
