REs have always been attraction but this model may actualy see more buyers because of 20kgs weight reduction which makes it more agile and usable for larger masses and may give higher fuel economy as well if driven around 70~80 kmph

@@kirankizhakkekkara8389 I've done 3.2k kms on my Fireball Yellow. Till now, no issues faced. Indeed the halogen is a downer sometimes. But the effortless seating posture and buttery smooth power delivery at 80-90 kmph is a charm for me. After all, the traditional Enfields are not meant for blasting past the tarmac. They're more of thumping around in top gear at a sedate pace.

Yep! It did change my mind! I am a Naked Sport or Racing Sport guy. Just a casual visit to RE and I had a test drive. And yes, it’s not like a typical RE. For the first time it appealed my taste. I am a 6 feet tall guy. I did feel this was little short bike for me but after the test ride. Damn! This is going to appeal many who are going to try RE first time. Smoother than any other REs and yet powerful. I just wished it had 6 gear setup. Nice thought by RE engineers it’s a breaking change. Kudos to Eicher Motors!

I've never liked any RE bike,never would've considered even once...until this!! Designers have nailed the looks and proportions,there's enough going for this bike to be a runaway success especially considering the price. If it rides half as great as it looks I'm buying it.

Honestly, I never liked any of RE bikes except Meteor. But that’s not something I would ride on an everyday basis. I’ve been looking for a bike with basic specs and retro looks, with a little bit of character, and finally, my search is over. I loved this bike and definitely going to buy it. It reminds me years ago in the late 70s when Kawasaki introduced a budget KZ400 which came without a tachometer, and had drum brakes on the front. The price was approximately 75% of the normal KZ400.

I absolutely love the design of this bike, looks quite youthful. But one thing that I don't get is why does RE never give LED's in the front?? They could significantly improve the looks for the bike & improve the visibility in the night. We need LED's RE!

the halogens on REs are brighter than most of the LEDs in under 2 lakh bikes. Did you even listen to what the reviewer said? Further, installing a LED bulb aftermarket is not gonna break your bank.

Honda charges premium for a reason. They certainly have better engineered bikes. Riding the RE's & CB350 siblings back to back clearly proves that. But sometimes Honda commands too much of a premium that is not justifiable. Even the locally assembled Hondas are relatively pricey compared to the competition. RE's do have unmatched comfort & customisation options in this segment.

Cb350 is priced less than top model meteor and classic and cb350 easily cruises at 100-120 kmph but RE 350 j series feel stressed after 100kmph

That's old Hondas but today it's not the same. I own Hornet 2.0 bought last year so many electronics problems, there is breaking issues with abs, Speedometer not showing speed alone, false neutral problems etc, Honda showrooms in bangalore is piss poor services and parts are expensive but they have never fixed any issues, when ever i go to service center there are so many people cursing & contemplating why the purchased Honda. I paid more and got Honda instead of going to apache RTR 200 still now i don't know whether I made right decision. My friend in UK bought RE Meteor he didn't face any major issue. Honda showroom guys are clever they say the same shit like Honda is premium, reliable etc don't fall for it.

@@rajaoctober14 My 10 year old CBR is still performing like a champ, even new duke 250s are not able to keep up. but you are correct on the fact that the honda service guys are a totally nuts, they ruined my bike, so i currently get my bike serviced from a good mechanic who is well experienced and has got all the tools. BTW i live in HYD.

@@sakalasiva this 350cc engine has been there for a while..enfield has been tweaking it without any major improvements to the engine and it all feels the same..we know 650cc engine in royal enfield is a milestone for the company, when u have achieved something as a company they have to keep pushing it and further develop it..they keep going to again to this old engine..all other international brand gives u a engine option and that option will always have their best engine in it..enfield should have it'd best engine in any new design so that it develops...that's my humble opinion

Even re owners accept that, so do I who rode a meteor and rs back to back. Apart from the sound the rs feels like an electric bike, absolutely no vibrations whatsoever. And that raspy intake note speaks refinement!

Would you say the teardrop gas tank from the hunter is narrower than the one from the meteor? I know is like an standard in crusier bikes, but that and the wide seat were the two things I didn't like. But man I loved the yellow from the Meteor, it's a shame Hunter doesn't come in that color.

Seeing all its +ve and -ve, I would say skip this bike. Rather buy a Honda CB350. I covered the whole south India on it recently (15000 Km in 3 months )and can say that Honda is class apart in terms of performance, reliability, off roading, top speed, and I was riding at 120kmph most of the time, with zero vibrations. ❤️
