Sir, the amount of tears I've cried listening to this album speaks for itself tbh. after generations and generations of my family dealing with illness and family trauma, this hits straight in the feels (but in kinda healing and cathartic way, so thank you so much ❤)

So this is one of the albums that is amazing when listening front to back. I have a list of my top 5 albums, and I think this one is cracking my top 5. It is that good. Front to back.

I've listened to this album front to back probably over a hundred times, and I can't stop. Feels good knowing others out there appreciate it just as much. Thanks for this!

This album is up there with A Home Like no Place is There for me. Genre recalibrating record, every song necessary in the track list, incredibly strong songwriting front to back, unique yet familiar in how quickly it resonates from the the first listen. Tough Love, Muscle Memory, and Dirge are my favs, but this record is packed

I'm obliged to disagree with your hot take regarding Moth Song... I think the lyricism is absolutely breathtaking. That first verse?! "You flew around where my light goes, And you're chewing holes in all my clothes I let you out, thought you'd go home, But you said your home is where I go." The imagery is as beautiful and haunting as the tune. Other than that, as a fan of pop punk for as long as I can remember, I'm so glad I found this channel. Let's go!

No Closer To Heaven is a great follow-up to The Greatest Generation. It was the best sequel they could have produced.

This is hands down one of my favorite albums in a long while. Even the opening line on Overture is something special. And then Aries and Dirge are just... Amazing. Fantastic album overall but those three songs are just so fantastic.

They have the sweeping soundscapes of The Hotelier and the heaviness of Joyce Manor. They also remind me of Charmer a bit.

Listened to this straight off your recommendation and I was not disappointed. Thank you for keeping us in the loop, its now sitting up their with other legendary emo albums in my mind. At first I didn't know if I'd like the rough vocals but after about 2 full listens I couldn't help finding them the perfect accompaniment to the music.

Ok, so, Peripheral Vision is tied for my favorite album of all time, and I absolutely LOVE this album, am and interested to see where they do next. Just wanted to know if you don’t like Shoegaze or Peripheral Vision? Or by that comment you made you meant you didn’t want them to go the direction Turnover did after peripheral vision?
@prince5063 Жыл бұрын
Ok, just watched your turnover vid, misinterpreted what you said lol, but great vid! Discovered the band a bit ago while listening to some emo music on shuffle
@PopPunkApologist Жыл бұрын
I love turnover! Selfishly I don’t want arm’s length to go in that direction because I love their current sound so much. But arm’s length should do what they think is best and not listen to anyone else lol

I think Family and Friends is a great sound, but wouldn't want an entire Arms Length album to sound like it. Dirge is an outstanding song, but again I wouldn't want an entire album of Dirges. Object Permanence and In Loving Memory are the bop to the top bangers.

Overall, if I were to write a one-line review to reel in new listeners, I'd say nbsnaf is the heavy existential and grieving content of younger pianos become the teeth and casey with the musical deliverance of mid-career brand new and late-career the wonder years.
