I didn’t test the lockout in my limited time with the bike. I typically don’t use lockouts and didn’t feel the need on this hightower either

Definitely! Great all rounder. If you’re only riding in the Midwest and never any bike park, I may even consider a bit shorter travel (like 120-130), but this can certainly do well and pedals great.

Hey there! Could you, yes - a boost 27.5 wheel will always fit in a boost 29 frame / fork. Should you, probably not. It will greatly effect geometry and handling.

Wheels lock up at breaking is not meaning to great stop power, just mean lost of traction. If lock real wheel is your goal Shimano MT200 are enough. Dont understand your point of good brakes.
