Really great video, thanks - Been looking for a bag which sits between a small pouch and a backpack EDC - something like a grab and go in the event of an incident (I've come on 2 car accidents in the last 3 months and my IFAK was too small) so this looks ideal. This would easily fit I think in my van, behind my seat... Thanks

Glad to see you back brother. I’ve gotten that way myself a few times. I’ve thought about carrying a little silver with me also. I agree with your edc growing with you. Nice load out. We all do our thing and carry what we need. That is a nice looking bag. Nothing wrong with kershaw. Have a few myself. Backing the blue brother. Be safe out there.

My loadout would be a bit different. But absolutely no shade to throw. Great video. P. S. The Mora is a great lightweight back up. And if you’re in the woods, few are better.

How would you load it differently? This is an EDC, not survival or go bag. Strictly EDC.

@@Two40Nine Well I’d probably switch out the trauma kit you have for my bearFAK. And add a second tourniquet. I’d probably go with a Mora Kansbol instead of the MG. Both are great knives I just think there’s a bit more versatility with the multi grind blade. And I’d probably have like three miniature big lighters just thrown in there because I do smoke. Also I’d go with either a Leatherman wave or my big old heavy duty surge. And I don’t know what the Boy Scout model Swiss Army like knife you had in there was. But I would go with the Huntsman the one you have in your pocket. Because it has a saw. And I’d add a couple of 55 gallon drum liners in the bottom. If nothing else they’re great to sit on a wet park bench or wet grass without getting your ass wet. And I would use one of my thrunite Headlamps instead. But good on you for the extra batteries. I’d probably have my power bank and cords and charging block all in the same pouch. And I prefer cold steel pocket knives. But you still have a pocket knife in there. So like I said no shade to throw. Also good on you for having a boo-boo kit in addition to your trauma kit. You don’t need Band-Aids when you’re trying to deal with a sucking chest wound. And I also have a couple of spare mags in there. But like you said you weren’t gonna talk about that in the video. I would also have my Little sharpener that has two diamond plates a leather strop and a ceramic rod. Smith’s brand I think it is. More than enough to get the job done. Also I carry my Leatherman raptor trauma shears instead of regular trauma shears. PS I really like that you have three lights in your bag. (again I’d switch the EDC light out for one of my Olights that has the dual directional clip so I can put it on the bill of a hat.) And three cutting tools. I’d probably throw a 1 inch roll of gorilla tape on one of the straps just cause it’s nice to have that much tape around. Or fire tender if you need. And I would have some bank line in there. And one of my single walled stainless steel water bottles. Like you said 9 miles. But that can be real shit with a twisted ankle.

@@Two40Nine I lied by accident. It’s a Work Sharp not a Smith’s brand. I’d also have some water tabs in there. Because I am me. And if large scale stuff did happen. And your bag suddenly became what you had. Rather than what you wanted. They take up no space and no weight. If you could carry a condom. You could carry 10 water tabs. Clean water even in public lines. Is the first thing to go in an emergency from a storm or an attack or what have you. Also I’d add a second space blanket. Because why not. On, in and under right!? Or switch out the two space blankets for one of those SOL bevy bag’s.

This is a great video Buddy!! One thing I wonder about.....do you worry about someone taking your knife or flashlight from the outside of your bag or them falling off??

Thanks for watching and the comment. I don’t worry about the knife or flashlight falling out. If I’m leaving the bag in the car, my flashlight comes with me. And the knife, I got at Walmart in a Kershaw gift set on clearance for $15. So I’m not concerned if it ever falls out. I hope that answers your question.
