Nice video, I can see you put thought and effort into it. For what it’s worth, which is probably nothing, a few suggestions from a retired sergeant in the 82 nd Airborne Division and retired police sergeant, if you carry the tourniquet train with it, even a KZbin video, and be prepared to use it. Doing something to help an individual is better than doing nothing. If a person is at a point a tourniquet is needed any help is better than nothing. They can’t be worse off. Get the tourniquet out of the bag and ready to use. I would keep a separate bag of clothing in your vehicle and take out all or most of what you have in the bag. Your EDC bag shouldn’t be a suitcase and weight may start being an issue if you get stranded in an emergency and needed to cover the ground on foot. Drop in a few of those silver emergency packet blankets and a small emergency bevy. Drop some water purification tablets to sterilize water if need be. And personally, I had several 5.11 bags along with numerous others, but I decided to go a different route. I picked this up from other folks on KZbin and thought it was a smart idea. I backed away from looking too much like a police officer or a person in the military. It’s better to be the “gray man” in an emergency, don’t stand out! It’s similar to carrying a firearm. The first person the bad guy is going to take out is the biggest threat, the person with the gun. If you are carrying a “tactical bag” with the military patches, various Velcro sewn on, and all the other accoutrements, people will probably believe you have equipment they would like to acquire. it’s been my experience people will do violent things to help themselves or loved ones. Sorry for the long rant but thought it was important. 👍

Thanks for the feedback! I’m looking into getting some trauma first aid training asap…I don’t like not being prepared for any situation. I figured having the tourniquet, but not being trained to efficiently use it is better than not having it all. I’ve definitely thought about going with a bag that blends in. Vertex and even 5.11 make bags that fit the “grey man” look. I likely will make the bag change soon. And as far as the contents go I like to have spare clothing on person vs in my vehicle just in case…I’ve had a couple instances where having the extra clothing in my bag has proven to be the way to go…when I upgrade my bag I’ll be looking for a slightly larger one that can accommodate the extra clothing as well as other items I want to incorporate. I train with my bag often, so the weight isn’t too much of a concern for me.

Just a specific question, by any chance, could you check the width of the water bladder pocket for me? Against the backpanel in the inside. Want to know if mine fit. Thanks alot!

A small strip of ranger band aka inter tube that’s sewn on or glued may help the slippage on the straps. Great review of the sog ninja. God bless

Thanks for the tip! I actually have some ranger bands on their way, but I didn’t think to use them on the straps. Thank you and God bless!

I had one of those day packs and unfortunately it didn’t last 30 days before the seams started to rip. Not a bad setup. I carried a lot of the things you do. The travel John thing was cool. Keep up the good work.

At that price range it’s likely that the quality control is lacking. I’ve had mine for about a year. Everyday use and it’s still holding on. The setup is nice just unfortunate it’s lacking in quality. I’d be willing to pay closer to $75-$85 for the same bag, but with better materials.

@@GeronimoJ27 I hear ya. It takes a while to find that bag that’s just right. Lol I’ve been through a few. Wish you the best with your channel. Subscribing.

@@GeronimoJ27 Then it was necessary to immediately buy 5.11 Rush 12 v2.0. It's worth $85 when discounted.

Я смотрю в основном европейцы и американцы с собой носят полноценные аптечки. Все от того, что у них дорогая медицина. Вызов скорой обойдется в копеечку, поэтому они до последнего терпят. Сами себе помощь оказывают

The tacticool guy reviews everything else but the bag. I mean what is the point? I guarantee he does not use 90% of crap inside the bag.

You’re right. A lot of the time some of this stuff doesn’t get used as often. But the point of the bag is to allow you the comfort of knowing you’ll have what you need for that just in case situation 🤷🏽♂️
