This was like the Fisher Price boat show🤣-I’ll admit the 2 bigger ones looked like some fun could be had on them-but that fun would have to be in JULY and August because your gonna get wet as all hell.I’m not surprised by the pricing either-nothing is right in this world right now so these prices seem par for the course.Great video John-I would’ve never knew things like this even existed.

I had a Triumph 190 Bay. It was a good, tough, first boat. I never worried about bumping into the dock or anything. But, that plastic stained so easily and it was impossible to get out. Not only that, it rode terrible. It wasn't a horrible boat or anything, but I probably wouldn't go that route again.

57K for that Shallow Sport? Wow, the Yamaha 252 FSH truly is the best bang for the buck IMHO.

The Shallow Sport will run in 4" of water on plane and drafts 8" when at rest. If you want to go in super skinny water, very few things match the Shallow Sport.

The Polycraft is definitely cool alternative to a aluminum boat. They have an 18ft on the website.

Great video. I would love to hear your thoughts about polycrafts in general. Aussies love them. They claim to be nearly unsinkable and apparently very low maintenance. And as you say, very trailerable. Curious how you would stack up their 13.5' and 15.5' boats against something like the key west 1720.

Honestly, I NEVER heard of them prior to this video. Would be interesting for sure to ride in one and see for myself. I’d have to imagine the KW 1720 would be a more substantive boat but again; that’s pure speculation on my part

Great video as usual. All 3 seemed very over priced for what they are. I'd honestly go with something used. If i wanted a 10 foot boat I'd just go with the typical John boat for half the price. And the other 2 boats id just get a decent 22 foot center console for less than the 27000. Not even gonna mention the 56000 boat lol
