I've been a hard-core VW enthusiast for 30 + years. (though always loved Subaru for their Rally legacy. ) Subaru killed it w/the 2022 BRS and this will be the first non-VW I've owned since 1988 .

I think the front end and back end look okay, the main problem is that it's a pretty big downgrade from the previous generation looks, especially those valenti clone taillights.

The Headlamps are nasty...and old fashioned looking as well. Obviously the entire exterior appearance of the vehicle has been designed by committee. So sad. It is said...after you park your car, walk away and look back, does it make you smile ? Well not so anymore for the BRZ.

@@MotorMavens My point is that the Gen 1 cars have a very modern, artistic appearing headlamp. The Gen 2 car headlamp is just meh, certainly not futuristic. I disagree. Front end looks baby Porsche like and really good. I do think the Honda rip off rear looks crappy, but for all of the overall refinement and improvements it’s well worth it. Functional side vents, better aero, better power, improved tech and handling. The front and side view is amazing to me
