2022 Subaru BRZ Review - Initial Impressions and Road Test (4K)

Fresh of the dealer lot and just broken in we have the 2022 Subaru BRZ. With the new 2.4l motor and 13.5:1 compression, the car gets a substantial refresh from the first generation model. In this video we take it out on the road to see what's new and how it compares to the last generation.
In the next video we will evaluate the power output when we head to the dyno. Once things warm up a bit and we have some open space we will take a closer look at the suspension.

open passenger door and pop off the access panel on the side of the glove box. There is only 1 wire harness you can see and the box says "sound amplifier" on it. Pull the plug out.... fake sound defeated.

How is the 1 to 2 shift? Is there a big delay?

The rev hang is increased compared to the first gen, though not as bad as the DIT WRX.

the rev hang is the direct injectors clearing I think. I just let off the gas before I shift. I dont find rev hang a issue when givering it
