I won't lie, my introduction to Ray Filet was Tournament Fighters for the Sega Genesis ! And if they made a toy line based on that version of Ray, I would geek out! I even think Sisyphus was kind of cool

Ray had loose wrists. Legs were ok. But he’s back heavy. Just as a clarification if interested.

My Krang is terrible. Fresh out of the package, a leg on the walker crumbled and a leg on the tripod snapped off.

I'm glad you called attention to the looseness of Super 7. I recently got the toxic crusader and the ab crunch is so loose it just hunches over and falls. it can't stand at all. Annoying for how expensive it was.

@@ConstantineCydonea I'm not sure what you're asking, amigo. Polyurethane is the preferred method of tightening joints. It's not hard to find, and ideally you apply it with a henna bottle so you can make tiny drops and use the needle tip to get deep into a joint's opening. but it isn't possible to solve the inner torso piece looseness which the turtles and metalhead have, because that piece goes WAY high up inside the body where you can't reach, unless maybe you had a nozzle with a U-bend so it could reach up and around.

I have this wave on pre-order with BBTS. It's disappointing to see how loose Krang is. I have the S7 Ultimates Ren and Stimpy figures and they look great but neither of them can stand - at all. Every company has their flaws, I guess. A lot of my Marvel Legends get really gummy in storage. Some Neca figures are so stiff they break when you try to move a joint. But I still love 'em all.

The paint on sewer samurai is VERY disappointing. That gold should be rich and metallic and shiny....looks very flat and pale.

Great story about your dad! Been patienty waiting to see Krang and Samurai !!!! Krang is a well needed figure as Neca hasn't even released this form in Some time and as a late collector I can't shell out ebay prices for Casey Jones, April, and now Krang. So BOOM . Got a great new fig to place in my Super7 collection as well as flip flopping over to my Neca section

Yeah, his original bio card said he was 12' 4" tall, so I was hoping they'd eventually do a huge deluxe version of him, like they did with thKiller Bee, Needlenose, and Krang's Android Body. But I'll happily take a bigger, chunkier Leatherhead figure, thank you!

I have 15 ultimates so far, and every one of them has loose joints, except for my casey Jones whose elbow joint is so stiff it started to break when I tried to move it.

Wow, Super 7 is really the worst. The loseness for a 55 dollars figure is unnaceptable. I just got my Mumra the ever living and the head's pin is loose, so everytime you change the head, the pin goes down the neck making it impossible to put the head back.

Yeah, they make Hasbro look like super high quality affordable premium stuff. Even though they're like hand painted custom figures, NECA has zero competition. You get two matte finish toon characters, loaded to the nines, mostly able to be found at your nearest Target, all for the same cost of one Super7 figure. Most of these figures just end up collecting dust (so-to-speak) with etailers; hence why you can find them cheaper than MSRP on Amazon and such.

The buck human teeth on Leatherhead look so goofy. I get that it’s trying to upscale the original line and stay true to the design, but man, not everything needs a faithful recreation. I’m still waiting for the right combination of character and price to try a figure in this line. Slash might be the one, but I’m still not digging the $55 price. The cartoon NECA versions just look so good, and these at $20 more per figure just don’t compete. Tight joints are so much better than loose joints- these are Adult Collectibles, not toys.

My original figures that inspired wave 5 unfortunately did not have interesting backstories attached to them. My original Krang and Leo the Sewer Samurai were Christmas presents, Leatherhead I found from a reseller at a flea market, but I can say Ray Filet DID have a backstory similar to yours. My parents and I scoured toy and department stores across town looking for him. No luck for what seemed like months, then at a random store (might have been Burlington) there was in their toy section a new case of TMNT being opened up and the first figure the stocker pulled out was Ray. It was like fate.

@@ToyShiz It did. However, where it popped out it appears to be a peg that was glued in in the first place. So it should be an easy fix. I'm not sure why they designed it that way; maybe it was meant to be able to plug-in at one point?

Has anyone tried that kiki joint tightening fluid? Does it work? I know it's just polyurethane (same stuff that's in floor polish), but I haven't tested it. I just don't want to spend money on it unless it works. When I read reviews, they're mixed. Some say it works, some say it doesn't. I'm thinking it works for slightly loose joints, but not floppy joints (which is what I'd want to use it to fix).

I have it and use it often as needed. It works well for me. Just need to let it cure for a little bit. Squeeze it into the joints, work it in more by moving the joints and then leave it be. After 30 mins, the joints feel much tighter. I’ll definitely be using it for these.
