Great video! I love the way you position the camera where we can see everything so clearly (from reading the programmer screen to seeing where you place the key emulator)! I have a few questions, though. 1. What would have been different if you just wanted to add a smart key and you already had one or more working keys? 2. Is there risk in backing up the IMMO data using OBD? I've seen other videos (one was a 2022 Corolla and the other was a 2021 RAV4) where the locksmith used a bypass cable with an IM608 and a GBOX2 to plug into the smart box to backup the IMMO data. Once the IMMO data was backed up, the bypass cable and GBOX2 were removed, the smart box was reconnected, and keys were then added via OBD. Both of these were AKL, too, so the APB112 was used. I'm just wondering if the other locksmith didn't know his IM608 could back up the EEPROM via OBD or if I'm missing something. I'm very new to this and am still learning the nuances of different years, makes, and models, but I thought 2019+ Toyotas required a dealer code for AKL.

Technically, you're not doing all keys lost, but you're adding key. I do agree this is a simple way to get folks back on the road. What happens when it's a true All Keys Lost and the customer says the wrong people out there have a copy of the smart key...
