maybe you could have mentioned the fact toyota dealers are selling these for $120k and completely taking the piss out of the consumers.
@markelliott61052 жыл бұрын
And Toyota was already taking the piss out at $80k. Definitely the right tool for the right job, but the right price would be closer to $50k. Toyota hasn't invested a cent for decades, I'm sure the assets they make it on have been written off years ago.

As a bare bones basic ute the only thing that’s not basic is the V8 turbo diesel . In fact one of the dearest engines should it go wrong , if it wasn’t for the environmental emissions crap these bare bones utes should still have the straight 6 cylinder diesel in them with and without a turbo . There a bit slower but I bet the price could be so much cheaper to purchase and the 6 would last longer with less repairs . I’d love one of these but the price is to ridiculous and they still haven’t sorted the front and rear wheel track which is disgusting for the price you pay.

If Emission Laws doesnt exist Toyota couldve built a v10 diesel for Land Cruiser That would be a screaming behemoth However we are being forced into “ Youll pwn nothing and be happy” huhu

Why do we still pay high import duties on vehicles, which was supposed to substitute our own car industries. Hello we have no car industry, so where is the money going now you gruberment

I can't believe how cramped the cab still is. 😱 Nothing fits in those cabs. Another 6 to 8 inches behind the seat would help.Aaand put back the handle above the window. 🙄 They are not a dying breed if there is a 2 1/2 year waiting list. You just contradicted yourself there, you talk to much.And how much was that.? We got a v8 2012 workmate.

It belongs behind a horse ...it rides like a cart. So outdated over price underpowered out of the box V8...cramped interior.. lacks style ..the rear track is a joke from factory ...big whoop you get blacked out wheels and a 70th badge and wait for it extra cup holders up from the standard 1 cup holder. Yep Toyota Tax in full swing with this.

As a Australian im embarrassed so many people rate these overpriced under performing utes do so well here it's the wank factor at it's most brazen so many better more well equipped utes on the market and not to mention 90% will never see a gravel rd let alone a hardcore of road bush track congratulations to Toyota for pulling off the biggest scam in Australian motoring history the marketing department all need a massive pay rise

It's just ridicules that every militia and terrorist army around the world has them as "technicals". Someone needs to start buying them off them second hand and import then to Australia. Plus or minus bullet-holes.
@commonsense-grs2 жыл бұрын
I agree, it's old school and people like that, but I just can't believe people would pay 80k and more for this dinosaur. Ok Toyota has done some improvements, but not where it's needed, I bet this insult 100mm less rear axle assembly is still there, also as you said still 5 speed, got to be kidding Toyota and still no auto trans option, pathetic. I understand what this car is about, can build it to want you, but boy that is going to cost you another fortune. I still, for me don't get this car, you can build other make to be off road weapons, great tow car and touring car, but everyone to there own I guess if you have money to burn.
