Just another quick video showing how I installed the Timbren SES (Suspension Enhancement System) Rear Suspension Upgrade on a 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD. This was a very easy install. This fixed the towing sag and squat. This basically is a longer softer bump stop / Rubber 'Spring' that will help with stability and better ride height when loaded or towing. This is a great alternative to air bags and does not require any maintenance after installation.

"Is your truck sagging under load?
This can interfere with its overall performance. In other words, if your vehicle doesn’t sit level, there are a number of problems you will encounter:
Proper front end steering alignment is thrown off balance, causing the vehicle to have delayed steering response. The ride will feel unsafe and out of control.
The braking distance is extended due to significantly less weight on the front tires. Braking distance is increased because the front of the vehicle is responsible for up to 70% of the vehicle’s stopping ability.
The position of the vehicle’s front end causes its headlights to point upward. This creates a nighttime road hazard by blinding oncoming traffic.
Due to the misalignment of the steering, tire wear is increased and there is potential for premature tire wear failure.

I did the upgrade on our 2016 Sequoia Platinum, which had airbags. I also changed the shocks to Bilstein 5100. And towing a camper is a day and night difference. Timbern is the way to avoid sway and sag and gain control of your truck. Thanks, great install instructions 👍

Any idea what your tongue weight was with your boat? I just picked up a 2024 Tundra Limted hybrid and plan to pull a camper weighing 7500lbs and tongue weight of 1000lbs so I know I'm going to get some sag. I see they make two different kits, one at 4800 and another at 6000 lbs, which did you install? I added summo springs on my 150 and was looking for those for the Tundra but they do not make, that is how I stumbled upon these. I see from the question below you did the RC lift kit. I'm installing the M1 Shocks tomorrow to do my lift. Ordered a lot from RC and really like those guys.

I bought the Timbren SES for my 2002 Toyota Sequoia. Product was shipped from Timbren in Ontario, Canada to California via UPS ground. Not the fault of Timbren, but the shipping took nearly two weeks. Upon receipt of the product, I found that the bolt supplied to attach the rubber to the bracket would not fit through the supplied washer that Timbren ‘pre-loads’ in the rubber. I called Timbren and they confirmed that the wrong washer was supplied. Duh. Bad engineering/parts assembly. I ended up going to the local hardware store and bought 4 of the proper washers. I asked Timbren for a partial refund for the parts $2USD and for my trouble. They declined my request for a partial refund and are shipping me 2 washers from Canada. Short story, if I didn’t supply my own washers, I’d still be waiting for correct parts before I’d be able to install these $309 overgrown pencil erasers. Not impressed.

What leveling kit do you have? What size of tires? Can you give a video on everything upgraded

I went with the Rough Country 1.75" kit. Here is a link: amzn.to/3qcCwOj Sorry, I didn't film the install, but it was pretty easy. For the Tires I am running the 285/60/20 BFGoodrich KO2 tires on the stock 20” wheels. (No issues or tire rub at all) The only other upgrade I have done is the MillerCat Cat Shield. Do you offroad that truck? Do you know if you lose any articulation due to the size of those bump stops?

Not really doing any serious off roading, but it doesn’t seem to make a noticeable difference in the way it rides or goes over a bump or dip in the road. I am sure it would make a difference in the total flex or articulation if you’re going over some major obstacles though. Thx for watching! -Dan
