Your love for your craft is just astounding! It's so inspiring to see you growing and growing in the industry, while making hit after hit, but still being able to watch your KZbin videos. As an aspiring actress, watching your movies and KZbin videos from the beginning, getting all these insights and watching your passion is just amazing for me. It makes me feel like my dream can be real too. Especially when you spoke openly about your depression in the past and how you felt when not creating films... it really hits close to home and gives me hope. I don't know if you've seen Unbreakable before, but when Glass talks to Kevin Dunn about how he knows he wakes up every morning sad and like something is missing from his life... because he's not living the life he's meant to. That's how I always feel/felt and how I kind of interpreted you to have felt (sorry if I'm wrong). So again, watching your videos give me hope. Thank you. Oh and, please don't ever feel bad or worry about not posting often... literally we don't get this from anyone else so thank you!

Glad to see you're still keeping up with this channel after so long. I just finished shooting my first full-length film, and many of your videos (particularly the shitty dolly one, which produced some pretty darn non-shitty results,) were really helpful. Have you ever thought of doing a video on how to get your film picked up or distributed once it's made? That's an aspect of film-making I expect many of us (me included) know very little about.

I originally found your YT while looking for Blender tutorials. I really liked your way of thinking, and then looked more into what you do only to realize that you were a director. I hadn't been familiar with your directing work at the time and Shazam hadn't come out yet. Was super excited for you when I found out you would be directing Shazam and also as a huge fan of the comic was excited that you would be the one in charge knowing that that should translate into me liking the movie. Which I did! Congrats on your continuing success! I am looking forward to all the new things you are working on and the wisdom you share in the YT videos when you have time.

I really enjoy seeing the things you do with photogrammetry and tracking VFX to real objects and vertices via Blender etc. You consistently stay _creative_ in your work, and approach to work, which is one of the most important aspects for any artist. And I immensely appreciate the tutorials on using open-source and cheap software and tools to achieve really incredible things, as well as ways to use indie- and consumer-accessible hardware to do really cool work. Whether or not your movies are to my personal taste, you’re one of the most important and most helpful voices on all of KZbin, and I’m so thankful for what you do. Keep kickin’ butt.
