Gebhardt’s mental resilience here is incredible. The rocky start could crush an archer, but she just pushed forward. That 10 was an incredible finish. Fawn is a fierce competitor and legend in barebow, but the set system means that you can never be complacent.

Just curious, why are the barebow targets turned sideways compared to recurve and compound?

They use round butt, wath the recurve, the target face are also turned sideways

@Nathaniel Miller Just to add to this. The target face just hangs better down the center this way thanks to gravity, rather than sagging down the middle if hung level.

Why is Girard shooting like an Olympic style? anchor point under the chin for a barebow?

When you shoot 50 meters you have to either shoot a heavy bow or since you can only crawl up so far before you hit the arrow, some archers choose to anchor under the chin to get enough arch.
