@@fuzelihlejili3620 Cheap to maintain so Japanese brands. Toyota Vitz, Suzuki swift if you want a new car. You should be looking to pay R4500pm or less for a car and insurance without a balloon payment.

@@leighstaceyclaasen5654 All depends on your right foot to be quite honest... The lowest I got was 6.2L and that was me cruising at 130km/per hr on my way from Jhb to Bloem

There's no way you would pay 1800 to 2000 for insurance on a polo day light robbery....

There is a way @Nico. Insurance premiums are relative, it will depend on your risk profile. For an example, your age, previous insurances and claims, how old is your licence, the type of car you drive (high risk/low risk) and the area the car will be parked will influence your premiums amongst other things.

@@Cars24NhlakaniphoMpungose True, in 2015 I was quoted R1600 with an excess of R7000 for the previous model Vivo. My licence was 3 months old. Plus l VW is an extremely high risk car

In terms of security: you’re more likely to get highjacked with the VIVO than with something like the Baleno. They get stolen for parts and resale
