G'day Rus. Forgot to comment on this video back in the day. Loving that new shop mate. When are we going to see more of it buddy? Cheers, Aaron. PS: beats my poxy 2 car garrage hands down.

Yaaaas. Going through much the same since last fall: from a 91 SQ ft shack - about a third of which was my mill - to an extra deep 2 car with 12ft ceilings. The insulation + 5kW space heater are arguably the best part 🤪

Whoa! I thought you'd been taken for experimentation by aliens. I'm envious of your lift. I bought a 1996 Daihatsu Hijet 4WD mini pickup from Japan. It was only $265 but the shipping was $1935, and there have been many other incidental charges along the way. It's still awesome for the money spent, even including a 22 hour round trip to trailer it home from the Newport News Marine Terminal. The clutch was shot, so I'd love to have access to a lift, preferably in a heated garage. It's not a very fun job outside, in January, squeezed under a truck that's up on jack stands. That's a nice big well lit shop. Vurra nice! I hardly use my LinuxCNC shop tools anymore. I have FDM and resin 3D printers and FreeCAD, so I print most of the geeky things I need.

Can't go wrong with a shop that has a lift.

Wait! You were building so much on that house a while back! Did you move or just build a new building? Happy New Year by the way!

Yup, my shop was originally in the basement and then we decided to finish the basement so I moved everything into my two car garage. Since then my wife has been tired of not being able to park in the garage, so I convinced her I needed this new shop.
