1. Kristin is incredible 2. Evelina learns to putt, she becomes a big threat 3. Kona's big contract continues to puzzle...

Kona's big contract is because of her social media following. She has many people that see her content, so sponsoring her for that alone is worth the big contract. She doesn't have to put up big tournament results to still get her sponsor's name out there.

Completely disagree with commentator on Hole 5. It plays like a basket on the front edge of an island, except there are two safe plays - layup or long, with long leaving you a putt back at OB. I think it's a much fairer and more interesting Hole than #1.
@ErisianThreeFourteen2 жыл бұрын
I agree. Don't see anything wrong with hole 5's "protection" of the basket. 40' short with a long look and a safe putt, easy 3. A touch long with a shorter look at birdie towards OB. They mentioned a different setup that I don't know if I've seen, that they preferred. Which is fine, but there's nothing wrong, imo, with this setup. I don't feel luck comes into play here any more than on any other protected green.

@lbh7042 жыл бұрын
@@Dr.Acula76 gosh, this again? She obviously practices, but she clearly has the yips. Her putting was great for a while, that's clearly a mental issue. You can do hundreds of practice putts every day but yips can still be there. Trust me, I know. I had the yips for few years and that made me basically stop competing. I could hit almost 100% inside the circle while practicing and at the competition I could putt well for a while, but then something happened and I missed a 3 meter putt by a meter. After that putting felt completely impossible for the rest of the round (or the tournament). I just couldn't hit the fucking basket even though I could almost touch it. And that happened at every tournament. Longest "good putt streak" I had two years ago was 8 holes before it all went downhill. It was so fucking frustrating that I could hit the circle at every hole and then had three or four putts. And it didn't matter how I tried to putt, spin or push, didn't matter. It just suddenly went 90 degrees to wrong direction. It's a lot better now, I took a one year break. Now I can actually enjoy playing again.

I’ll say it once, and I’ll say it again. The hyzer putters in MPO and especially FPO are so inconsistent. When playing in heavy wind the disc just rips way off target. Gotta keep that disc flat for a consistent putt. Disc should only be put on hyzer if the shot actually calls for it.

After puberty, men and women are physically different. Testosterone gives males bigger bones, better tendons (maybe stronger), and their muscles have more power cells. They can throw farther with less effort. Did you happen to see the results of the distance competition? Double G threw almost 700 feet. Ella Hansen throw almost 500. I think these bomber courses make for some pretty boring disc golf especially for FPO. Be sure to watch the final round of Portland open. That was some fun FPO to watch.
