@@unclelive6918 transmission is 100% stock through all these races. I did eventually throw on the Perrin super shifter stop but that was just to clean up the 1-2 slop.

I am very keen to see how a VB does against an EVO. So far I haven’t found any videos. They are both similar in the fact in takes very little mods to make impressive gains. If you get a chance for the new year, I would love to see this happen.

I recently saw a video on Everydaydriver that featured a 2010 Hatchback STI, EVO X, and another STI (can’t remember the model). They focused on how these vehicles bridge the gap between their generations. I also remember the reviews on Top Gear of the Evo chasing down a Lambo. The horse power that is gained from modding an Evo was cheaper compared to the older WRX and STI generations. Not sure what the track numbers would be if someone were able to replicate that Top Gear track. But a head to head with an Evo has to de done. The VB is making major gains with less money spent, similar to an Evo.

Intake, jpipe, FMIC, turbo Inlet, full exhaust, e85. I'm definitely on the low side of power as many others are making 400+ with this setup.

The car is modded and through the video it was at different power levels. Transmission is stock.

It definitely was. That was when I first got the car last year. I was dead wrong but I did it so I wasn't gonna exclude it. It's just a part of my personal growth as a driver and understanding the car more.

This is the number one reaction that a lot of people get when they see racing videos on the internet. It's easy to blame what you don't know then try to understand. The WRX was not stock so it was faster than the stock Elantra. That's all there is to it. If you have further reservations you can actually hop over to my channel I have a full video on just this car and the owner and us discussing everything that happened. Also how is it that I'm getting clicks if the Elantra isn't even what is detailed in the thumbnail?

It really depends on what youa rr comparing it to. Against a mustang GT it's slow, but against a civic si it's not ..or some other stock for stock comparison.

That VB OTS, vs the STI OTS, would have fully convinced me to sell the VB. So aggravating. Subaru still gets the middle finger from me. All day long until they refund me fully or put me back in an STI. Bunch of corporate liers they are.
