I think it looks really great with the little front cowling added. Really great branding strategy too. I always know when a fellow mt07 rider is passing by from a quick glance.

The Best motorcycle ever. I also had and tried many bikes, including most modern top bikes full with power and electronics. 07 is a mix of everything many want from the street bike.

How much do you weigh? I think it can be a fine bike if you’re responsible with the throttle. Duke 390 is another great one if youre trying to go smaller for your first one.

​@@motohound90 I am still 16, and nothing more than a enthusiast at the moment. But I'm still planning to get a motrcycle. I am 160 pounds at 5'10. I could probably ride the mt-07 but I feel like I should start small.

@@21beastbro yeah at your weight you could definitely be fine with a smaller displacement and still have plenty of power on tap. I would look at the mt-03, cb300r and duke 390.

@@21beastbro same here, im 22 and 165 pounds at 5'11, im just waiting for the dealer to callme and check all the paperwork, i need to build my credit so i want buy it with a loan, not a smart decision but i will have a lot of fun lol, also my first bike, i have been learning a bit on 250cc bikes when i was 16 too

Hey was wondering what was your though between the cb and the mt. ? Really love this 2 and don’t know which one still really hard.

I think it comes down to which engine configuration you prefer. The CB650R was beautiful aesthetically and the handling and controls were next level. Much better on the highway too because of power and weight kepts it very planted. Absolute rocket above 8000rpms. BUT I enjoyed the low down gut punch of the MT and I loved how light it felt off the highway and the sound and the fact it ran much much cooler and not vibey. Tough call. There are plenty reasons I could see someone picking either one.

Just one question are those side mirrors really usable or just for the looks ? Iam thinking to get those but cant decide if i should get out the stock ones since i need more wide angle visibility of my back.

The stock ones had better visibility but I think the bar ends have enough visibility and look soooo much better

I've watched videos where guys say they vibrate so bad they can't use the bar end mirrors.....on my Mt07 i kept the stock mirrors for 1 reason, i park my bike in my house & if i had bar end mirrors i couldn't get it through my doors....

Undfortunately the only way to explore all the bikes is giving them up. It gets really expensive quick. I miss the xmax though not gonna lie.
