2023 05 Misool Eco Resort dive trip

Although the travel time to reach the Misool Eco Resort in Indonesian waters was a bit much, the resort and the diving there was exceptional. I particularly loved how large and healthy all of the various types of coral were.
Once again, Tina, our tour leader with Island Dreams (soon to be Dive Travel) provided us with a wonderful opportunity to experience diving at its finest in the heart of the coral triangle.

Hi. Gorgeous video. Interesting shots, good quality. The only thing is that when installing the video, you do not need to use fast aggressive rock music, the melodies should be peaceful, relaxing, almost like a mantra.

I’m glad you liked the video. It was a very nice resort though quite remote. There were several people there outside of our dive group that were just snorkeling. I actually skipped a couple dives and went with them one morning to snorkel and check out some pictographs that were nearby. The snorkeling was nice but not nearly as nice as the diving. I think the deepest that I went on any of our dives was about 75 feet. Most were around 60 feet with some of the best scenery at 30 feet or less. Great lighting in the shallows which as a videographer I really liked.

Yes. Dive certification was required to dive there.

Very nice video, could you share how deep are the dives? Need a diving license to reach those areas?
