I also looooooove paper planners! I used Planbook last year as well and a hobonichi weeks. I got my 4theloveofpi teacher planner a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it!!!

Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I also love the ‘4 The Love of Pi’ planners. I was devastated to find out they don’t shop to Australia! 😢 So I am back to trying another planner again this year. I do change throughout our school year as I need motivation toward the end of the year. Personally I am happy to see you plan in all ways. So long as you are not spending to much time on it at home if you also plan at school. I know how hard it is to balance home life already. You don’t need to make it more difficult. 😊 Thank you for all you do on this channel, you are motivational, inspirational, and a delight to watch for teachers young and old, and beginning to experienced. I adore a great planner! I love the vertical layout! My brain likes seeing things in list form for each day. I love Happy Planner but don't like that all their teacher layouts have the days horizontal. I ended up buying a PDF with the days arranged like yours here and popping those into the Happy Planner rings.

I renewed my plan book as well. I didn’t need it last year… my program was pre structured so we just followed along. However, I am moving to 7th grade Texas History this year!!!! So, with new content I need the more detailed plans, and I have to turn them in as well. I also got a clever fox teacher planner because I need to write things down as well and it’s a good way to refresh your memory without having to get online.

I started using a digital good notes planner last school year and I will never go back to a traditional paper planner. It is the best of both worlds because I can do hand written notes, use stickers and highlight things but also access the planner from all my apple devices.

I would love to see your slideshow process or to hear even just a summary about how you got that set up for yourself. I, apparently, am ancient... When I first started teaching, Smart Boards were just coming out. Now, those seem to be outdated and everyone's moved on to slides. I obviously know how to do PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc., but I'd love to know more about your process and how you use these things for the classroom. Do you do your building/creating in PPT, Google Slides, or in another program? Do you use a template or build from scratch every time? How do you decide what goes onto a slide? (I'm a big believer of not typing all of your content onto the slide, but instead, using the slides for bullets/main ideas, summary statements, or really...just more like a "visual aid" vs a primary means of communication. BUT...all of my slides (recently, anyway) have been created for adults in conference settings. So what are best practices for using slides with kids?) Do you do slides for EVERYTHING (ie: each lesson, every day), or just for certain things? ALSO, I know I'm gonna get lost in the weeds and spend wayyy too much time trying to make things cute. I know that doesn't need to be my focus this year. I just need to get something basic up and running, and I can beautify it later on down the road once I'm in the swing of things. But to get started with just some simple, easily reproducible cuteness/put-together-ness, I'd love to know where you're finding graphics, fonts, ...templates, even?) (I think I'm a little stressed about this because I'm not, traditionally, a fan of slides. I've attended too many classes and conferences where people put a wall of text up on a PPT then read it to us. It's lazy, boring, and dry. All I can do is think about coffee and leaving lol And then as a conference presenter, I've felt FORCED to make slides because people expect them... but since I'm resistant to slides and/or since I'm trying to think of other things (ie: not text from my "script") to put on slides to visually support my content, I feel like slides take so long for me to create. The thought of making slides-which is something I KNOW my new school does/expects-just seems like it'll become something that'll add hoursssss of work to my load. I've gotta figure out an efficient and effective slide practice, and I don't know where to start. I know I can just open Power Point and get to work but honestly... ain't nobody got time for that haha!! I need a plan and a map!) This is a very overwhelming KZbin comment lol You're a champ for reading all of this!! But I've really loved your content and feel like I identify a lot with your other approaches, so I'd love to glean from your wisdom and experience here, too. Any info you'd be willing to share OR if you have a fave creator here or on another platform to point me to for this, I'd be beyond grateful!! Thank you so much!

That's everything that it comes with. The only add on I did was to add the subject names to the sections on each page.
