12:20. The way I'm interpreting the ex. regarding existing installations, if you needed to replace a breaker on a pre-1980 split bus panel, you're allowed to do so provided the total number of breakers on the upper bus (main section) doesn't exceed six. Is that correct?

7:00 then for the same reason the GEC must not be bonded before the service disco but mike holt says otherwise; in fact he says you can bond at the weatherhead.

You can bond a grounding electrode conductor to as many places as you would like.

@@RyanJacksonElectrical maybe he is talking about to bond the GEC to the Neutral.

Those disconnects at 10 minutes in the video are under the flap and is only a plastic cover. You can easily lift the cover and disconnect either of the services. No tools necessary. Common for duplexes.

So who makes a 400A meter main that complies with 2020 NEC 230.71? Can you list a few models? I have a 400amp main panel in my garage/workshop with pass thru lugs to a 200amp panel in my house with pass thru lugs to a 100amp smart panel in my basement. I live off grid in a remote area and run my entire site using PV Solar Energy and would like to add EMS to manage my entire site.

So who makes a 320A meter main that complies with 2020 NEC 230.71? Can you list a few models? Every model I find with two 200A breakers has both breakers in the same compartment. One example is Siemens MM0404B1400RLM.

I had a 1960 Federal Pacific main panel with 6 sets of pull out fuse blocks and plug fuses. Odd duck.

What’s the reasoning for allowing 6 throws to disconnect a service? Why not just make it 1?

You haven't lived until you've made measurements on the exposed live bus-work of a multi Megawatt MCC in a level 4 arc flash/blast suit at over 100°F
