Sad thing, the saturation of the 23-24 product will lower the value of the product rather quickly. Compared to McDavid's rookie year, the manufacturing of Bedard cards is in the tens of thousands more, and that's not including the insane amount of variants that are being made up to appeal to the masses. In 20 years, a Bedard card will hold the value a Lindros card does today.

You may be right the quantity could be through the roof on the base. However, the #’d parallels will have insane values similar to McDavid (not similar $$ but similar concept). The #’d YG’s is definitely want you want to chase for long term holds.

bedard will be a semi star scoring 60 pts ever year and at his peak he will have 80 with a few injurys to come

his ppg would put him at a 70 point season this year, at only 18 years old I think this kid only gets better with age. I could see him hitting 100point season as a 20yr old

This set is definitely Top Heavy with Bedard in there. However, his card just the base has been selling at a crazy $$ value. Add in the variations (albeit rare) it’s a fun chase value wise. There’s some other decent rookies in there that’ll return decent value BUT you’re 100% chasing the Bedard craze.
