2023 art studio tour | in my cozy 1br apartment

Hi, thanks for sharing. I've seen some amazing studios online, with big open spaces or floor to ceiling windows with tons of natural light, but, for me, I really enjoy seeing what people do with smaller spaces. I just started using a corner of a room by a window. The main working space is about 5ft x 5ft, but I could extend later if I wanted it too. It's just a large table with storage underneath and by it. I will do a quick video at some point. It's amazing what you can pack into a small area. I used to just grab a tub of paints and sit on the sofa or at the kitchen side board. But wherever you are, it's about creating art, and you can do that almost anywhere, all the best, John

Aww, thank you John! I agree, I love seeing what others do with smaller spaces. There are lots of beautiful huge studios that I'd love to have one day, but a cozy small space that you can make work for yourself is a great accomplishment and makes me happy every time I wake up and see it (lol because it's in my room!) 😝 Sounds like you have a space you are making your own too! That's amazing! It's easy to just sit on the couch and create, but there's something about having a table/desk to create your artwork. ✨

Haha I know that feeling! I guess it is good my space is tiny right now, but it’s starting to creep into other parts of my apartment lol. I’m so glad your daughter lives thrifting too! It is so fun when you have someone else love it as much as you do!

😝 my husband was like that for years but this past year he’s been finding things for himself or even for me (like jackets and coats). He still can only handle about 15-20 minutes, so I usually go by myself.
