The soil is clay, so I amend it with soil conditioner and perlite, but it is very fertile. Yes, the weather is very mild most of the year.

Thanks for watching! The dogs really don't look that much alike in real life, but they are soul mates, for sure. The palm tree is huge! I was working with a gardener who knew about Mt project abs he was removing the palm from another yard. He called me and said if I wanted it, he could have it brought right over on a truck and have some guys plant it. Luckily I was home and they came and put it in my garden...first thing that was planted! And a very reasonable cost. It is 20 or 25 ft tall.

Nice job, big improvement. It still looks a little ragged but once it becomes established and fills in it should look spectacular. I live in San Diego so I recognize all of your plants. Don't be disappointed if something fails to prosper. That happens a lot when the landscaping is as ambitious as yours. Next year's video should look great. It's almost too late to wish you Feliz Navidad, but there is still Happy New Year.

Thanks. Many of these plants will get quite large, so I need to leave space for them to grow...and the digs have trashed the mulch completely. There are a couple of small bird of paradise plants that grow very slowly, many plants tucked in pots in the shade until there is more tree cover so I can get them in the ground. In 6 months, things just haven't gotten very big. Next year, you are right, it will look much better!

How often do you water the yard?

I will need to water in dry months, but so far, I have only had to water the potted plants and new transplants because we continue to have rain in December. I just spot water as needed. Many of the plants are very drought tolerant like the palms, plumeria, desert rose, ponytail palm, bougainvillea, crown of thorns, and hibiscus. It really is not a thirsty garden in general.

Homeopathic remedies could help these dogs nervous systems

I actually did try a blend of medicinal mushrooms for a while. No difference at all, unfortunately.

Angel was on a homeopathic remedy when I got him. I kept it up until the bottle ran out. It has made no difference in his condition. CBD oil definitely helps, though and I use that and salmon oil on both dogs daily.
