What a lovely place! I really like the large garden area and patio because I enjoy growing things! The bathroom tile is very beautiful and Kitchen also looks very nice! I am curious how many Pesos per month? Also curious if there are any rentals avaiable this time of year in that area? Is your new place quieter than the last place?

This place is actually noisier than the last place. I love it, though! Lots of activity and near the center of the village of San Antonio Tlayacapan. There are rentals available in this area. Some are not listed with realtors and it is a matter of walking around the streets, looking for signs, and contacting the owners. But, there are plenty of rentals available through agents, too. This is the low season, so it is easier to find rentals. From November through April, lots of people come down for the winter and rentals are a bit harder to find. My rent is 10,000 pesos/mo....which is EXTREMELY rare to find. Most rental houses are over 20,000 pesos/mo.

Hi Tamra! Hoping to move to Mexico with my pets, and was wondering if you could provide the whatsApp for the "pet lady" there in your area so I could get more info? Everyone told me to look her up online, but but my identity has been stolen, FB & everything else hacked...what a mess. I know you drove with your pets, but I am on the East coast and 71 yrs with rescued ferals, no way to drive for weeks. Praying to find a more affordable life with less stress. Thank you! It would be a great help 💌

I'm not sure who you are referring to. Most of my friends are into pet rescue, so I can't really identify "the pet lady". There are literally hundreds of people here working in various aspects of rescue, spay/neuter, pet transport. If you are looking for a pet transporter, you might want to contact PuertoVallartaPetTransporter......com. I understand they do a great job and do make trips to Lake Chapala from PV when needed. If you have several ferals, I do not think the airlines will be able to fly them, but you can check with the various airlines.

Yes. We are sure he had distemper as a puppy, but he is a very happy dog. It doesn't seem to bother him at all and it apparently doesn't shorten their life.
