2023 BMW 540i: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 In todays review I drive the all new 2023 BMW 5 series! This is a super comfortable luxury sedan with many features! I love how nice the suspension handles and performs. It's a quick car, not loud by any means, but that's not its purpose. It would be a great daily driver, it offers a lot of space on the interior whether you have people or storage. The rear seats are a bit on the tight side, but still work and of course you can always upgrade to the 7 series if you really need more space and it is more comfortable than the 3 series space! The exterior has a great look with crisp lines and the color is one of my favorite on this vehicle! This is pretty much fully loaded and even has the M sport package which provides the wheels, brakes, suspension and steering and it has a great amount of technology and an easy layout with the infotainment system! It has a minimal amount of buttons which makes it easy to use, and the materials on the interior are very nice! I love the wood trim and brushed aluminum, it makes it have an elegant design and look. The driving performance is great and I love the different modes from Eco pro if you want great MPG or Sport to have some spirited driving!

Beautiful car, and a great package but this should have the 382 hp B58. The X3 gets the hotter B58 but not the $70k 5 series?? BMW should have included the 382 hp engine with a sport exhaust, dynamic handling package, big brakes and made it an M Performance model (M540i.) BMW, for the $70k + you charge for a well equipped M Sport 540i you should have offered a more special sport sedan. Not everyone wants (or needs) a thirsty, heavy 523 hp V8.

This 540i still does have the B58 engine. It's just the older version with about 40 less HP then the updated 382HP B58. You can still tune this engine to be on par with the updated B58 tho. If you get the M sport package it will increase handling and braking capabilities. I'm sure the 2024 540i will have the 382HP engine. 2023 BMW 5 series is still the older BMW. They havent updated it like the 3 series and X models

The M sport package provides the car with the M suspension! So if you don’t have the M sport package, you automatically get the standard suspension!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed This car is (beside chosen options) identical to E4QdxGz6HMA and f4TRBC2j9v8 - Since all three are the 2021 LCI 540i, they all have the indetical engine, same design (all have the sport or sport pro package), some mild-hybrid system and so on. The 7th Generation of the BMW 5-series was released in 2017 and got a facelift (aka. LCI) in 2021. The 8th Generation of the BMW 5-series got released in 2023; currently restricted to 520d and 520i. There is no "2023 BMW 540i".
