What 48 volt system are you referring to? As far as I've seen there is no electric motor on this car or any type of hybrid system.

in eu the cars come in diesel format, those rubber holes were originally for filling urea, but blocked off for gasoline versions.

9:19: this is an additional tank for the adblue that we use in Europe for diesel cars. Since the M2 have common parts with the 2 series coupe, I assume they just “blocked” that on the M2 as compared to the 220d for example. In the US you are not getting a diesel version of the 2 series, but we do in Europe. This is however just an assumption again. I got that on my X5 30d (adblue tank). Ordered an M2 10 days ago (the 2025 model with 480 hp) btw. Thanks for the great review full of useful info 👍

good info. so i made a wire mesh (qt inch squares) made of galvanized spray painted mat black fitted inside the lower front opening to catch debris and can't even be seen or discernible . problem solved

If you just look at the weight of a car and dismiss it, it's no different than someone looking at a car with 250 hp and automatically dismissing it. Cars are more than the sum of their parts or specs.
