You can set the transmission mode (auto, sequential) to either in M1 or M2. It's not stuck in sequential mode. That's what is so great about the full "M" vehicles, they are so customizable.

It takes a while to figure out the M1/M2 settings for the conditions you want. For M2 I have DSC off, Engine Sport Plus, Transmission in D3 (Auto mode), Suspension Sport Plus, X drive 4wd Sport. For drag racing I will use S3 transmission for launch control and it will shift in Auto mode. For a sport luxury car it's impressive. I've ran 10.77 at 128.8 on a country road with no prep or burnout. 0-60 was 2.89

@@subbot4.850 I haven't tried since. It was the only pass I made and I was happy with it. I'm sure it will do slightly better on a prepped track because I was getting some slight wheel spin on the front axle.

You forgot to mention the soft closing doors and the massage seats. And yes you can change it to auto mode in iDrive to any M button.
