2023 BMW X2 xDrive28i: Start Up, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 In todays review we check out the all new 2023 BMW X2 xDrive28i! This is the smallest BMW SUV offered being more sporty and compact compared to the BMW X1! However, this is still roomy feeling on the interior and offers some great technology! On the exterior of this 2023 BMW X2, the front end has a nice look with all the gloss black accents and subtle lines run around the exterior, but it has a great "hatch" design to it with the short rear glass and high fenders! The interior on this specific BMW X2 has red leather sport seats which a apart of the "M" package featured on this model as well. The technology isn't too fantasy with the analog gauges, but it does have the touch screen with all the information needed to go through! There is plenty of room for back seat passengers and even plenty of room for cargo! I'm amazed with the size how BMW was able to make it feel so open and spacious! If you are in the market for a smaller SUV, definitely consider the BMW X2 and with this color combo, it makes it feel even more luxurious!
The driving experience for this 2023 BMW X2 xDrive28i was peppy and fun! With this smaller engine, it still got up and moved and felt great! It's also an extremely quiet SUV which is perfect for a daily driver and it has a few drive modes just depending on the throttle response you need for the day! It's also smooth and handles well for not having an upgraded suspension! That's what I love about BMW, even their non "M" cars and SUV's that aren't performance oriented, still handle well and have those sporty characteristics to keep them fun and driver engaging!
The 2023 BMW X2 xDrive28i is a great blend between having a smaller size vehicle, but also having the space you need to make it both practical and easy to drive!

Looked at them today. I like it very much, inside and out. A bit silly you can’t get blind spot monitoring though. I think it needs it. Not too sure about reliability and repair costs, though I would be buying new so get the 5 year warranty in my country.

It’s a nice bmw! Maintenance on these cars isn’t really expensive. Especially if you do the work yourself. But a warranty is great for some piece of mind.

Havent been in the Tesla Y. I think the X2 is a bit cheap feeling to be honest. Y could be a cool option if you like electric. I like the X3 a lot more!

I couldn't notice... Is there no place for sunglasses in the front light/sunroof controls? And no Homelink (garage door controls)? for almost 50K? And the center arm rest looks after thought.. bad implementation. The exterior look thou.. killer.

A lot of vehicles don’t have a “sun glass” holder in the headliner. Some do, but not all and I don’t remember where the garage door buttons were.

I have an accord 2006 that's is reaching the senior years. I love this X2. I went to the dealer and they are overpriced and crappy customization. I went to the BMW website and customized mine and it was for what I wanted, even with a panoramic sunroof 41K MSRP plus taxes 45K. I can finance in 6 yrs and 7K down payment for about 590 a month. It will have inside what I want in a car. Nothing more nothing less. :-) I am planning to get it for Christmas :-) Thanks for the review.

Sweet! Honestly I'm seeing more and more luxury brands have better pricing then the average cars. Why spend $40k on a honda when this is so much nicer. BMW has been doing really well lately

I'm not sure what has changed besides the year designation. The dash looks just the same as my 2021 which "sports" idrive6. I drive6 can't be updated so you're stuck with a 3+ year old tech. That head has no semblance of what is offered on everything but the x1 and x2 series. BMW has made the x1 and x2 parts cars. So sad. Please tell me that BMW decided to offer side collision detection, tech that's offed at $20,000 for cars. I couldn't get side collision even at as an option on a $53,000+ car

Personally I would buy the X5 over it because I want some performance which this doesn't have! If you aren't into that, it's a great size and much less expensive! But I want the X5 M50i or X3 M40i for the power!
