This and the prior gen are really beautiful cars. As much as I criticize BMW for it's long term costs, these are really nice machines. Great review as always.

I have the m40i. Gets nonstop compliments and is the most rare and beautiful bmw in the lineup.

Yep that’s what I did and only $76K plus GM card bonus money of $1643. The HTC is the best.

@stevehammes: Umm, Steve, don't you think that having the previous generation i-Drive should be considered a positive, rather than a negative? More physical buttons, less screen reliant, easier to use while driving? Why would anybody who likes driving care that its' not the latest and greatest?

Dude what's up with people wanting the ugly over bloated hideous slow bad handling 4 series becsuse "oh em gee it has two small useless back seats"? Even the 8 series convertible back seats are small. Plus they look ugly and too posery. The z4 looks clean and has true classic sports car looks and cabin space is HUGE for two people
